Offcourse in small pipe case skin will be fast, what about bigger lines when the pipe thickness matches the thermowell thickness (5mm to 7mm at tip), skin type will not be anywhere close to response time compared to thermowell (with sensor) which is few inches in the pipe. any remarks from ABB ?
