Thanks for this reaction. :) BTS is consisting of three rappers and four vocalists. And all seven of them are excellent dancers. They do a wide variety of music, but basically they are rooted in hip-hop. All seven members are participating in making their songs by writing, composing, and producing them. BTS started with a small company that almost went bankrupt, so they have been very looked down and hated by Korean broadcasting stations and other K-pop fandom. So they have struggled from the beginning to prove themselves. If you're interested in BTS' other songs, I highly recommend Mic Drop's MV and the live performances. (It's one of their billion-view music video.) And then... FIRE Blood Sweat & Tears On kinetic manifesto film Black Swan Young forever Spring day Heartbeat Save me→I'm fine→Best of Me Daechwita(Agust D 대취타, Suga's solo) will be great. These are pretty different from Butter or permission to dance or Dynamite. (Only these three songs are fully English.) And, all of their music videos provide English subtitles. :) Their lyrics are very deep and beautiful. ​ Or, I think it would be good to follow a story line. DNA: Joy of fateful love → Fake Love: Realizing that love was a lie → IDOL, The Truth Untold, Epiphany, Answer Love Myself: To love other people completely, you should love yourself first. These are included in Love Yourself Trilogy. The lyrics of BTS' songs are based on their own experiences, and their albums are organic because they contain their growth narrative. All in English on "Dynamite" and "Butter". There was a mix of English and Korean on "Boy With Luv" that also featured famous American pop star Halsey. BTS is the biggest group in the world.

Great reaction! I'm so glad you were willing to give them a chance! They are truly amazing. For choreo, I HIGHLY recommend watching BTS RUN Live in Busan and the Dance Practice. Also NOT TODAY, has some insane choreo! Honestly, they all have insane choreo, so you really can't go wrong with any of them, but those stand out to me personally. There is so much content out there, it can seem overwhelming, but don't you worry... ARMY can help you thru it. Oh yeah... the confession about your Mic... It would be interesting for you to watch the video, A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7, which focuses on each one individually and will give you an idea of exactly who they are, and the time of work and talent of these guys, which June 13th makes 10 years since their debut, the group is composed of 3 rappers and 4 vocal line and yes they have a lot of dancing performances, it's worth taking a deeper look

You might want to check out Mic Drop, Idol, Fake Love, Black Swan (subtitles are a must 💜) They do sing in Korean and will add some English in their song. There are just so many genres and songs in their discography. Hope you enjoy.

Thank you for listening to BTS. I just subscribed to your channel and am hoping to see more. They have so much content that it can seem overwhelming. ARMY are always helpful though. I noticed your reaction to the Icarus lyric. You may be surprised by BTS’s lyrics. If you choose to dive in deeper you will find they are often inspired by or reference literature and art. They are know for honest lyrics that share what they are experiencing in life. Their songs speak up about many subjects not common to speak of, especially in their culture, like mental health and specific social injustices. They have many of their fans reading books and even studying Greek Mythology and Psychology theories that they reference. BTS, their message and positive examples they demonstrate have fans of all ages donating to worthy causes, reading, exploring art, learning languages, volunteering, working hard, working on mental health, and even trying to love ourselves. It may be hard to believe but it is all true and I wouldn’t be surprised if I was forgetting some things. Best of luck with your channel! I will be watching.💜

Very sweet reactions. This group is very complex compared to most. They have 3 rappers, 4 singers, all GOATs. 10 years together, and they do almost every genre. They have most of their music mixed in Korean/English, and 3 songs all English. Do yourself a favor and watch a video called "A Guide to BTS-The Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari". It's about 47 minutes long and you will learn so much about their story and about each member. Then when you dive into other videos you will understand so much more. There is NO other band or artist in the world that compares to them. After you watch the video you will understand why. They are not just a band, they are incredible humanitarians that do so much for this world. No one compares to them.....💜💜💜💜💜💜

There's a lot ahead of you if you keep digging in! These are on the pop end - they cover a lot of genres 😁 3 of them are rappers, and if you're into rap they have some seriously good lyrics and follow. You noticed that the vocalists can really sing 😁 and they're not just good dancers - two of them are recognized as among the best in the industry. They're really, really good at what they do. I'm enjoying your reactions! When you start singing along it's great. And the fact that you recognize how good they are at what they do makes us happy. People come in with a lot of preconceptions, but if you can approach BTS with an open mind you'll find something you'll enjoy. Ten years of group and solo projects and seriously, none of it is bad. I‘m commenting twice cuz I can’t find my comment. ALWAYS pay attention to lyrics and SUBTITLES/closed captions (but „AUTOgenerated Caption“ are a NO GO; you can recognize them in the menu and by looking if the lyrics & the lyrics pace don’t make sense at all) especially when it’s not one of the bubblegum-pop type of songs. Now to the part I originally wanted to comment: the meaning of „El Mariachi“, which I hinted at in my original comment, is as following: “El Mariachi” translates to the word “musician.” It originally came from the movie “El Mariachi” which was about a guy who sang romance but nobody liked that about him-but he never cared and continued to sing romance wherever he went and whenever he sang. In Airplane Pt. 2 I think it compares that to the old days of BTS and how they continued to sing their songs wherever they went and didn’t care that people didn’t like them or their songs. In the lyrics it says [lyrics redacted for non-Spoiler reasons] …don’t care about who dislikes their music. While BTS is the main group that I listen to, I like several songs from Stray Kids, (G)I-dle, and Blackpink, amongst others. A brief breakdown of the group in age order (the time stamps are just one spot from each song). Jin (vocalist )(3:47 - in the front, 6:22, 11:01) Suga aka Agust D (rapper) (3:03, 7:17, 11:54) J-Hope (rapper) (2:19, 7:37, 12:29) RM (rapper, leader) (2:00, 8:38,12:03) Jimin (vocalist ) (4:09, 5:58, 11:11) V (vocalist ) (2:45, 6:14, 10:17) Jungkook (vocalist )(1:36, 6:30, 10:09). 5:33 Halsey is an American artist. She and the boys are close. She has a couple songs with Suga. The most recent is the Diablo IV anthem, Lilith. 5:43 Persona was part of the album name. Map of the Soul: Persona. 10:27 The boards they are holding have their names and birthdates on it. I'm not sure what the top number refers to. Most of the group either have solo songs or albums, but they are still together. They are taking time for solo projects while they await their time to do their mandatory military service. Jin and J-Hope are already serving. The most recent solo albums are from Agust D, Jimin, RM, and J-Hope. Jungkook will have one shortly. They also have been brand ambassadors for several clothing lines over the years, individually and as a group. You mentioned their clothes in the video. I don't know all the brands from the videos, but Gucci, Versace, Tom Ford, Celine, and Louis Vuitton were a few. They have a ton of songs, but some good ones to start with are Mic Drop (the Steve Aoki remix), On (the kinetic manifesto version), No More Dream (their debut song), and Run BTS (not to be confused with their other song Run or their show Run BTS). Run BTS will either be a dance practice or the live performance from the Busan concert. They didn't release a music video for it and kept the choreography a secret until the concert.

Their English songs are more Kpop-ish than their usual songs. I suggest trying “Mic Drop”, “Blood, Sweat & Tears” & “On: Kinectic Manifesto”, “Fire” “Not Today”. I hope you will jump down the RABBIT HOLE that IS BTS. Their songs are sooo diverse, just as diverse as their FANDOM/ARMY. For example, I am 64 years old, Caucasian, American, GREAT GRANDmother from TEXAS, USA! My 46 & 30 year old daughters are HUGE FANS, too. Please RESEARCH all about them. There’s too much to tell you & it’s past my bedtime (1:00 AM is my usual).

The 2 songs were sung in english but they normally sing in both korean and english, if you want to know more about them, then watch A GUIDE TO BTS, THE BANGTAN 7. Am 47yrs old and i have never liked and respected a group more than i do with BTS for everything they stand for. Time to go down the BTS rabbit hole!!!! So many other videos for you that you'd like! They have one other in English which is "Permission to Dance". All 3 of the English songs were done during the pandemic to bring joy to everyone while in lockdown. You might enjoy Fire, Mic Drop, On Kinetic Manifesto, and some solos by J-Hope, AgustD (Suga), RM, Jin and Jimin. You mentioned a group with a song called "Scenario." I think you're talking about the boy group iKon with their biggest song of all time called "Love Scenario." I highly recommend checking them out at some point too along with the girl group Blackpink who are from the same label as iKon. Blackpink are currently the biggest girl group in the world and are 2nd most popular after BTS who are #1.

Nice reaction, you picked 2 of their 3 all Engish songs. Most of their songs are a mix of English and Korean. They also have some Japanese songs, several of which are beautiful ballads. BTS songs are a variety of genres. A great intro to watching them live (they sound even bettery live) would be the 2021 Festa Room, they do a part of a song from each album from debut to 2020, I have watched it many times. I became a fan around that time. I watched a reactor watching their Tiny Desk Concert and felt a connection to their music. It is only 3 songs and another great intro to their music. If you prefer seeing them doing choreography catch some of their award show perfomances, especially the Asian award shows.

BTS is the best! Dance, rap, sing, act, model - they do it all and they do it better than anyone else. OT7 forever! Since you like the choreo I bet you'd like their Dance Practices.
