​@wilisyulianita3983 Agree. Also. The vocal line's song "House of Cards". And "Truth Untold". His voice is a standout in those. And the other boy's voices are gorgeous too. But when I heard Jin sing just 2 words in "House of Cards" he blew me away. He belted "No way. No way." Jin is really the only singer who really knows how to use his chest voice to belt. And being a musical theatre person I love that. Jin's voice is my favorite. And yes. Find the Live Version of "Epiphany". He will blow you away. He learned how to play the piano for this song. He taught himself! Not kidding.

Jin is a big fan of Coldplay, and BTS has covered Coldplay songs ("Fix You") and even collaborated with them ("My Universe"). When Jin was about to start his mandatory military service he asked Chris Martin for help creating a song that would "say goodbye to ARMY for a little while" and this was the result. 💜 Chris then invited Jin to perform the song live with him while Coldplay was in Argentina. Jin flew there just to perform this song, his last performance before enlistment, and the ARMYs who attended all sang along. Truly one of the most heartwarming performances I've ever seen. 🥹💜 Note: Jin's military discharge is in only 49 days! 🥳

What you said at 7:09 actually brought tears to my eyes. "A relationship he shouldn't have but life gave him this and it means so much to him" The song is directed at Army and you might not know this, but Jin didn't actually have plans of becoming a singer. He was planning to become an actor when he randomly got casted on the street for his good looks. He joined the company with zero knowledge in music, dancing or singing, which was a rocky path for him. But that's how armys came into his life. It wasn't supposed to happen, but it did anyway. It's crazy how you were able to pick up on that part of the story, through the song alone.

Being able to "feel" songs like that is an underrated gift. \ I think it's safe to say he was born to be ARMY; and they day will come when he suddenly realizes that he's been ARMY for a while - without consciously realizing it. It sneaks up on you, and nestles into your heart.

You have described the meaning of the song and the relationship pretty accurately, even without knowing who it was intended for. The little girl represents ARMY and this song was Jin's goodbye before leaving for the military. He wrote it with Coldplay (Jin wrote the Korean lyrics) and the instrumentals and at least some of the background vocals you heard on the song is Coldplay (Chris Martin's famous oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh makes an appearance 😆).

Jin is the best phenomenon in K-pop. They presented the Grammy in Korea and called him the silver voice. Jin has a very wide range. You almost got it, the little girl is representing Army. Jin was drifting through life before he joined BTS, studying acting, but just going with the flow, now he has Army who loved him and he loves Army so he feels he can't leave when the spaceship is repaired. This was made as a goodbye song to Army before he enlisted in december 2022, he was about to be 30. He asked his friend Chris Martin from Coldplay to help him make a song, and this is what they came up with. Jin travelled to Argentina to perform the song once live with Coldplay, there is a very nice video of that performance and the wonderful speech Chris made about Jin to introduce him. Other great Jin solos Epiphany, best as a live performance Awake Abyss Moon. He will be released from the army in a few weeks time in june. The other guys all made albums before enlisting, but Jin didn't have the time, however as most of the guys don't get out for another year he can concentrate on making an album now, or maybe he will take an acting role in a Kdrama for a while, who knows. Next out after Jin will he Hobi in the autumn.

He sang it live only once, at a ColdPlay concert and then he left for the military right after. The little girl represent his fans, ARMY. You’ll see it in some of there other songs like J-Hope’s “On The Streets” or the “On” music video. This song means so much to ARMY because Jin, as the oldest, was the first to leave and that was his parting gift to his fans to comfort them while he was gone.

The crossword puzzle darkened areas spell For ARMY in Braille and the moles on his neck seen while he's riding in the back of the pick up truck which is a callback to The Most Beautiful Moments In Life albums spell ARMY in Braille. Coldplay posters on the wall behind the bed. The guitar in the room is one Chris Martin gave Jin when Coldplay collabed with BTS for the song, My Universe. There's more but these are the more blatant ones. My Universe is a great song and the music video is bonkers beautiful.

Thanks for the reaction ! Jin is an alien on earth in the mv. It's called the astronaut because for himself he's not an alien, he's just an astronaut crashing on a different planet. He meets the little girl (army). We can know it's army because of the purple helmet when she's cycling (purple is army colour and army is 10 years old). Jin's spaceship is fixed but he chooses to stay behind because he loves army and it's become his family.

JIN is my bias, and it actually made me emotional and even cry hearing your explanation journey into figuring out what the song or who it was for. The girl represents Army and he was saying goodbye for now as it came out just before he enlisted in December 2022. 49 days and he is back and i cant wait as he is the only one to release his solo album from the group and i am so ready for it!! Chris Martin helped him with this song, and there is a live version which is amazing. Jin travelled over 30 hours to just sing this one song, as it was his only chance before he enlisted. The bond between BTS and ARMY is a two-way street. I'm sure you know by now from the comments how much we ARMY love our guys. I hope this song gives you a glimpse of how much the members love and appreciate ARMY as well. The fact that he traveled for 40 hours to Argentina just to perform this one song at a Coldplay concert, so that he could give one last live performance for ARMY, and then traveled back to Korea for another 40 hours. The fact that he postponed his enlistment to December (he originally wanted to enlist in the warm spring because he doesn't like cold weather) just so he could perform one last concert as BTS in their Busan concert in October. The fact that he appeared on Suchwita (Suga's talkshow) amidst his enlistment preparation just because he knew ARMY would be happy to see him on the show. Everything that he does centers around ARMY. And this applies to the other members as well.

How we cried when we first saw this video. Jin telling us he had to go away for little while, but reminding us that he loves us and would be back soon. I love that Jin was able to work with Coldplay on this song. They have been one of his favorite bands since childhood and were a dream collaboration for him. Jin and Chris Martin really became besties. The only live performance of this song was at a Coldplay concert in Argentina before Jin had to enlist. It was such a beautiful and touching performance.

You are correct about this being Jin’s sort of “goodbye” song. It was released in Oct. 2022 and Jin went to military in Dec. 2022. Also if you notice, the background vocals are Chris Martin’s of Coldplay…this was their gift to Jin, that’s why the style is very Coldplay. The little girl in the video is a representation of ARMY. I actually cried when I first heard this song and thinking that we will surely miss Jin when he serves in the military. But now, Army is excited as Jin will be out in June 2024. Chris Martin's prelude speech is beautiful and also refers to when he first met BTS in Korea during the pandemic to work on "My Universe"; there is a great Bangtan Bomb behind the scenes documentary you might enjoy.

He needs to return to the space (military service), but he decide to come back to earth because he felt at home with the girl he met. You are doing great. At this point I don’t think it’s possible to “overthink” most BTS songs and/or MVs because they’re usually done so they can be approached from different angles. In this MV, Jin is the accidental “newcomer” to the planet and the flashbacks show the little girl helping him learn/acclimatize and making him feel welcome, and Jin helping & cheering her on in return as she grows. They go from strangers to friends to family. The little girl represents ARMY (just past its 9th anniversary at the time), and the storyline parallels Jin’s real life K-pop “idol” journey. (He was recruited into the agency from the street while he was studying to become an actor and had no experience singing or dancing at the time). Yes, this was his goodbye-for-now song before enlisting. Personally, I interpreted the “message” of the MV to ARMY as “Regardless of how I came to be here, this is my home now. I have been CALLED AWAY to face a responsibility and must take this trip away from you to deal with it, but while I could take that chance to go “back” and continue my original journey, I won’t abandon you because we have become family.”

Army/girl is Jins new friend a 10yo beloved younger sibling who wants his attention, who wants to take pics with him and show him things they have done, one he is protective of that he teaches and guides. Its possibly the most wholesome sweet goodbye for now video I've ever seen. He returns to us in about 49 days!! And again the musical quality of BTS is apparent in all 7 each a force to be acknowledged but so diverse you'd never ever guess they were in the same room. He and Suga shared a room for many of the years together and their bond is one you might not expect. He's the oldest of BTS and "held things together and kept control" of helping members and being one of the quiet pillars that made things work. But his talent as a solo artist is equal to the others and we cant wait for him to return from the military (where he has excelled) and get a solo album from him!!

Super Tuna endeared me to Jin in ways I cannot easily explain, very complex and personal reasoning. I think Jin has the best solo songs out of the 7 (for me & no hate to other members♡). Plus he's so good for putting emotion to the song that he sang that it breaks my heart everytime i listen to it. His voice conveys emotion so well. It can make you cry and feel comfort. He makes me feel the song every single time. No wonder he is a critically acclaimed 'silver voice' vocalist by grammy panel.

Jin and j-hope are, for me, the only members that, gun to my head, I could not pick a favorite song. There are just too many that are incredible and so close to my heart. Jin wrote this song with Coldplay because he need to do his militar service , this was our goodbye and he sang this song in a Coldplay concert for last time 😢 you should watch the live version in Coldplay’s concert it’s so emotional, we like army’s crying so much because we now the meaning of the lyrics and the simbology in the video (the little girl is army )
