In this video my brother and I react to Zico & Jennie Spot, One Or Eight Kawasaki and BTS Dynamite. My brother has never heard K-pop so I have no idea if he'll have any interest in it, but I'm hoping to get him to love it as much as I do. In this K-pop reaction we both give our overall thoughts.

Dynamite was all over radio, commercials and tv in general. So yes, the song you're thinking of is very likely this song 😆. Also, yes, the dance is inspired by Michael Jackson. They even did a live performance where the dance break was based on Michael.

근데 궁금한 게 멤버가 일본인이고 가사가 영어이면 다 j-pop인 건가요? XG도 그렇고 뮤비제작이나 홍보방식 그들이 활동하는 곳 모두 한국과 같은데 저런 이유만으로 j-pop이 되는 건지 궁금합니다. 그럼 sm의 wayv도 c-pop이 되는 건가요? 그냥 궁금해서 물어보는 거지 싸우자는 게 아닙니다.

One or eight are from AVEX JAPAN 🇯🇵 just like their cousins XG. The 7’ Japanese members of XG came from AVEX. This is their first RELEASE. They haven’t officially debuted yet. If you noticed Mt. FUJI is filmed in the back and they sing …ENGLISH just like #XG. THESE TWO GROUPS ARE ELITE . Great Review and SCORE. 🎌🎶🤍✨🕺🏻🐺

Dynamite was BTS first fully English song as a group. It's an enjoyable song but trust me BTS is a lot more than just Dynamite, they do such a wide range of genres. Dynamite came out in midst of the pandemic and it was a song to cheer up people during that difficult time. BTS had just released a new album and had a massive world tour planned for 2020, but the entire tour had to be canceled due to the pandemic. So all their plans had to be changed and Dynamite, 2 other fully English songs, and another album called BE followed. Dynamite earned BTS their first Grammy nomination, got them their first number 1 on the billboard hot 100 chart, and became the most viewed music video in 24 hours on youtube with 101.1 million views (Butter by BTS would break that record the following year). Right now 6 of the 7 members of BTS are completing their mandatory military service, the oldest member Jin has already completed his and was discharged last month. But they've been releasing solo albums and other content since 2022 and are still releasing new content while serving in the military. BTS are still very much a group and they plan to be back together after they are all discharged in June 2025 when they will be celebrating their 12 year anniversary as a group.

1or8 aren't kpop at all 😂 they're Japanese under a Japanese label. I know that they trained in Korea only partially but the bulk of their training was in Japan and I don't think they will specifically promote in South Korea.

Zico is more of a K HIP HOP person. He was in Block B. Around the time a rical to BTS. They had a Performance together I think on MAMA or MMA in 2014. He is a KPOP-KHIPHOP producer. On his own rather hip hop. K Hip Hop from what I heard is more western influenced logically it being "hiphop" also kpop was ALOT inspired from the west but kpop got its own sound.

If he likes Zicos Rap I'd say let him listen to "No You Can't" by Zico. His flow is really nice there (I know about this trough a variety show but it's one of my favorite Zico Songs) Also you didn't show him BTS Rapline hardcore rap yet right? Cause if he likes nice rap you shouldn't just show him Mainstream BTS but Rap BTS! Honestly they have my favorite Rapline in Kpop right now so show him stuff like Outro: Tear (live) or Chyper 1 - 4. Also another protip: P1Harmonys Main Rapper, Jongseob is going viral right now as "the little guy from P1Harmony" because his rapping skill is phenomenal! Honestly play him their songs! Idols can date, it's not fair to make the blanket statement that idols can't date. No one can forbid someone from dating unless they sign a contract. The only time I think idols are encouraged not to date is when they are still rookies, but usually they are very young and busy so it's usually not that big of a deal. I'm sure plenty of idols are dating but are just keeping it private and I don't blame them. Some fans just don't know how to mind their own business. I mean look what happened to Karina from Aespa when it was announced she was dating, fans sent her terrible messages saying she betrayed them and Karina even apologized which is insane. She's a grown woman in her 20's and allowed to date who she wants and shouldn't be criticized for it. And look at Chen from EXO literally just popped up one day to say ya I'm engaged and we're having a baby. And while I think most fans were supportive some "fans" literally wanted him kicked out of EXO for getting married and having a child (now he has 2 kids).
