Narcissists are super sensitive and deeply affected by everyone even BABIES🤷🏾♀️ Some hide it better than others. Anyone believing they can ask a narcissist a question and receive the truth are gaslighting themselves. One thing ALL narcissists do is LIE😂

Some are extremely careful and hugely over controlled- like the saying they could cut off their nose to spite their face, these individuals present very shyly and carefully and lie by omission- hard to have anything on them then.

Those are the ones that bottle up most of their rage and then become a serial killer.

You really can't know if someone is malignant till you're the target. If you're not the mark they just seem weird.

Can I ask how you work things out with your adult children. She was so horrible to you. there is no way that she can be a “good enough mother”. That terms comes for psychology.

10:43 - That's mirroring... I've had a narc attempt to mirror me to replace and subvert me, as a way to signal I'm lesser than him. It was not to improve himself, only his social status while destroying and taking any of mine. That 300lb loser is dead and gone by now, a threat to no one.

Mirroring can be a way of gaining someones trust, it was likely he wanted to stay on your good side.

I’ve had this too, she even managed to have me feel sorry for her and help her lots! Then she used everything for very successful self promotion.

Interesting talk. It seems like the first person felt the need for image management or repair after you got a peak behind the mask -- and that's why they made that phony declaration that they would fix things it IF they did something wrong. Shudder. Your studio space is looking sharp.

I think I've encountered many of these types you are speaking about, and i agree. They seem to not care about anyone's feelings but at the same time don't have the malicious slant that anyone with full blown NPD has. I'm now in a constant observing state to read how someone 'ticks'. I'm usually finding by default now that actually most people just don't care. It's rare to find someone that does, and in that case I'll be more happy to engage with them. Keep up the great content.

8:08 - A lack of aggression is quite uncharacteristic of them. I can't help but wonder if the person is on meds of some sort. The Narcissists Mask of Perfection doesn't require aggression itself but the Egopathy it brings does tend to tip the scale to being aggressive to feed the ego.

If you have a child with additional needs then the over 18 doesn’t work the same.
