I really like Joanna Scanlan’s narration style. I had to laugh at her counter-description of “Mad Dog Murphy”, the gentle giant during the segment with those naughty Schnauzers (“The Kray Twins”).

Yes. The narration for the Australian version is awful. Very overdramatic and very condescending. It seems to be made for the kind of people that enjoy Married at First Sight. This is much better Entertaining but the focus is still on Graeme and the clients.

Me too. But he needs to know its out of bounds whether the sofa is there or not. And he needs to know the woman is in charge, not him.

They have to fix the underlying issues not just avoid the problems.

English and other European homes are generally small compared to say USA. Moving the sofa is probably not an option.

Boarder Collies need tons hours of working exercise. My life is definitely not compatible with one, this family doesn’t look like it is either.

We have a gorgeous 5 year old rescue border collie who just wants to sniff and pee on walks and sleep and endless cuddles. Thank goodness we are pensioners and we love him to bits. ❤️❤️

Even Borders on farms aren’t on the go all day, they spend a little of time in outdoor kennels. Unfortunately though, farm bred highly intelligent collies are two a penny sold cheaply, look cute. Next thing you see same dogs a few months later sold online “ sadly no time for him”. Farmers need to take a lot more responsibility

@@carolinestannard5137To be fair to the farmers, it’s not their fault people get completely unsuitable breeds. “Oh yeah, the kids are going to play with the dog all day!” Plenty of exercise! In your dreams your kids are going to do that. They get these dogs thinking the dog is going to get their kids off the internet. It doesn’t work that way. Poor Bella. Sometimes it’s really hard to even watch them, you know they’re still not going to what they need.

Agree 100%! And it’s one of my pet peeves. Don’t get a dog for its looks! 😡 I’m just talking into the wind, though. “Well, so and so has a Dalmatian, and he’s really good!” Yeah, well, so and so runs marathons and takes his dog while he’s training! You don’t even have a big yard! 🤦‍♀️

I dont have a garden and have border collie. Well trained and obedient so she's off leash most of the time. 5 h a day outside and at home she just want to cuddle and sleep. You don't need a farm as long as you commit and understand their needs. Most people in this show being trained by their pups to give them food when running amok. It's lazy but shuts them up for 5 minutes. Longterm thinking is absolutely absent here 😂

I delivered to the people that ordered the pizza. This house had a dog. When I walked to the metal gate. The dog in the gate barked loudly but no one came out to receive the pizza. I opened the gate snip and behind me and barked. I ignored it look like I did not hear it barked. It surprised twist the head left and right . I walked knock on the door for awhile. The elderly person came out receive a pizza. I walked way out from front yard to the gate. The dog run after me and snipped but no more barked

It surprises me how people think their dogs are dumb, and don’t want to learn. I have cats which are better trained and cats which have more mental stimulation and puzzles. And cats Do Not Care what you think. The cats have me trained very well.

One thing that surprises me is how many of these dogs are not neutered. It sure helps take care of aggression and *ahem* other rude behaviors. Do Brits have an aversion to it or something? Just curious.

It is inhumane to never let a dog run. They are athletes. Learn recall, go to the woods and let them be dogs. It's not brain surgery. Get a clue, read books, watch positive reinforcement videos or don't get a dog.

oh, thanks a lot for THAT advice. This is how we end up with injured livestock and worse. Let them be dogs, really.... Train your dog. THEN, and only then think of letting them off the leash in nature.

Rotties are lovely, but need tons of socialising Outside the family. When I was a small kiddie my friend had a Rottweiler, as a teenager another family had a Rottweiler and a Lab, both were properly trained. Pairing a Lab and a Rottie was a genius idea.

Really? The poo eating Frenchie needs weeks of training away from eating poo? Graeme, I'm surprised u don't know about the dog food additive u can pick up at the pet store or veterinarian office. If u have 2 dogs, like the Leach family do with Dave and Herbie, it's easy enough to spike both dogs' food with the treatment. Then, when Dave goes to eat any poo left in the yard, whether it's his own or Herbie's, it will taste horrible to him. Which is weird cause it seems poo might taste pretty bad on its own, right? So, easy peasy. No long weeks of training by spying on Dave havin to keep ur eyes on him at all times. 💩

Stupid woman her Dog is totally out of control and her main concern should be how Dangerous her dog is, the mix of Rottweiler and Ridgeback is a dog who needs extreme discipline, both breeds high maintenance working dogs and are not for novice owners
