@TheOldMan'sGarage- What a sadly true statement for most Marriages, or Long term relationships, Bill you said it perfectly, "This Eclipse was a disappointment" "Its like sex, it happens once every 100 years, it only last's 4 minutes, and it's a total disappointment" 😜😁😆😂 I also ❤ed the fact that you, and your wife, have been going to the Amish stores, and restaurants, since your teenage years. And last, but not least it was really great to see your Dad relaxing in your new outdoor furniture, and throwing the ball with your dogs. These things, along with your great commentary, really sets your videos apart from anyone else. Thank you soo much for allowing all of us to be apart of your family💖💕

Sleep in today? Im so used to the 1am posts. Also, you have no idea how much I appreciate you clearing that gravel from the road. I spent 8 months of my life in a coma, relearned how to walk and talk, and 3 more years of physical therapy after my bike swapped ends after hitting some gravel in a blind turn. Seriously Sir, from all riders out there thank you for that consideration.

Bill, A fix for you creek problem. Source a old 96" (or 102" if you can find one) Flat bed Semi Trailer (Preferably Steel Construction) And remove the axles and lay that across you creek. Hell if you want, Put two of them next to each other to get a 16' or 17" wide deck. I recently say some on market place for about $400.00 each. The scrap on the tandems will help cover the cost of them. Then you can even have Tanner/ aka Steve to weld some rails on each side if you want. We did this last summer at a Hunting Property in Muskingum Co. And with the equipment you have, You can do all the work yourself with a little help from the young men you have on the payroll. Because even 48" precast concrete culverts are priced OUT SIGHT for the average home owner today.
@young119847 ай бұрын
We used a 102” van trailer we bought with total investment of $600 delivered, doors were falling off and the reefer unit on front was trash though. Yanked the axles, fuel/air tanks and all wires, cut out the front out, used dirt/gravel from the creek to build up 2’ on both sides of the ditch and laid it across the creek. Going to frame up for some windows on the sides pretty soon so wont be so dark in there

I believe you are correct. My neighbor has a 71 Nova ss (stroker 383) and he has replaced 3 units and finally told the parts store what he needed and what fuel and they hooked him up and almost a year now and no problem.
@garylucier68177 ай бұрын
Or, get a dial potentiometer that matches the ohms (or a little larger in spread, like twice the ohms spread zero to say 160 Ohms), wire that in sequence to the pickup before the gas gauge. What is happening is the alcohol is coating the pick up and increasing the ohms of resistance (doubling it over time), once installed you can fill up the tank, adjust the dial to decrease the resistance till the full on the gauge reads full of the tank, and it will reduce the actual voltage to the sender. Next time you fill up, adjust it again so the needle reads full...over time as the alcohol corroded the sender, you will just only adjust with each fill up. But, at least you can control the resistance and keep it within the required spread. You can always find zero, it is doubling the resistance over time due to the corrosion build up. An old trick: To freshen up older sending units, disassemble all plastic and rubber parts, then put in a pan, add white vinegar, and heat the pan to a boil, and boil for 10 minutes, rinse to cool, reassemble. That should remove most of the corrosion, thereby removing the added resistance reading. The alcohol attracts water, which increases the corrosion increasing the resistance reading.

@alertgasper22 күн бұрын
it does suck, and since 90% of the time we left the driveway we turned right to go to town, the gravel/dirt took a set and going left meant bumping over it. Finally when the DOT came to rebuild the road from the usual winter frost heaves, we asked for a pave job. since they were already there with everything, they cut us a deal. Makes plowing/shoveling a ton easier without the tire grooves, too.

Everything on my 06 Suburban with the 8.1 started failing and every part i replaced would fail! Cannot get parts that last anymore. So now im working on overhauling the AC system in my Suburban, and as of a week ago, my wifes 2013 Traverse AC shit the bed. Bad rear evaporator core. Just finished overhauling the AC and rebuilding cylinder heads in my 92 OBS chevy K2500 w/5.7TBI. If you have older vehicles, this is your life.
