What techniques are required to produce a very tight yoko sankaku in a real time competition like that ?
@joseluki2 жыл бұрын
Not techniques but referees that let the fight to progress on the floor instead of call stand up inmediately like 99% of them do.

Excuse me you have good compilation from judo again. But how do you think that Jessica Klimkait bites her opponent??? There is nothing like that gooing on! And I am sure she would´t have thought anything like that!

On reflection, I think Klimkait is trying to put her chin on her own left shoulder in case Funakubo tried to grab her left collar.

4:57 - unbelievable people can spend that much time training and still not know basic sankaku defence, she's literally putting it on herself
It's legal as the opponents hand is in the centre of her back. I have a couple of examples of people disqualified for driving their opponent's hand all the way up the back in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6G4eHloms1ppqM

Awful refereeing in the sankaku gatame. Referee probably just went for coffee.
@judojudo38082 жыл бұрын
Why do you think? You can see blue taps firstly at 5:07 by right hand and ref calls ippon at 5:11. It is 4 seconds later and it is immediately I think. I don't see any mistake of ref. If blue want tap earlier she can tap by foot because rules of judo allow it. And she had legs free the all time.

@@judojudo3808 5:02 she taps with the left hand. Ok, let's say her move was questionable. Then 5:04 she taps (again) with her right hand. The ref doesn't see it and the opponent points it out. Truth is the referee sees none of those taps because he has positioned himself at the worst place available. Maybe he thought it would just remain an osaekomi and not a choke, but where he was he couldn't see anything really.
@judojudo38082 жыл бұрын
@@scouter-xn6zi Excuse me but no! At 5:02 she just wawes left hand in the air. It is not taping. If you want to tap you have to tap into Tori's body (attacker) or into the ground. She taps firstly at 5:07 the right hand into ground. Tori (attacker) notifies the referee about it and referee calls ippon.

2:41 - moronic decision to grab the leg made this possible
@judojudo38082 жыл бұрын
What advice would you give her in this position? She's in full control and then game is only about Tori (attacker) can free her right leg or not. And her last hope is Tori doesn't make it.

@@judojudo3808 Not at all, at 2:39 she has a lockdown on the leg. Lockdown is a game of underhooks, the most important one being on her same side as the lockdown - which he opponent doesn't have (she's hugging the head). There's literally zero benefit to touching her feet with your hands in that position, i can't even imagine someone teaching her such foolishness. 2:41 she needs to use her left hand as an underhook on white, if nothing else, the underhook will enable her to reposition her body relative to white and maintain better control of the leg until they get stood up however she's currently in danger of getting choked out. She needs to extend and rotate her right arm, basic arm triangle defence. But actually she can escape the position easily by whipping her lockdown towards the camera as her opponent has no base to this side, she'd have to release the hold to base, white might even end up in a hold down herself.
@judojudo38082 жыл бұрын
@@pcprinciple3774 I have slighty different opinion. White controlls her very well. And not only her head but her right arm and her right shoulder too. And white's grip is very strong and tight and therefor some move of blue is very complicated. Then it is about white right leg if she will free it or not. But you have true grab her leg by blue can't prevent it.
@pcprinciple37742 жыл бұрын
@@judojudo3808 do you actually play lockdown? It doesn't sound like you do. White has nothing without freeing her leg and it's easy to keep that leg if blue underhooks her, there is nothing preventing blue doing that, she just doesn't understand the position she's in.

@@pcprinciple3774 Excuse me I do not play lockdown but when I was practing judo I had some kyu...You can have different opinion on this action no problem. But I see very good prepare attack by white with full controll her opponent when the last question is: if she will free her right leg or not finally.
