After the split up of Labelle, Nona pursued her solo career. This classic track is my all time favourite of all her output, it's just got something quite magical about it. That voice, that piano, the hypnotic beat, all builds up into one fire of a tune. Sarah Dash also made some great tracks after Labelle, my favourite of hers was the storming 'Sinner man'. Patti of course went mega but what a trio of talent they were.

Ah the Hot Tracks version. I actually knew Lester Temple as he DJ'd at the Castro Station bar. I remember the bar having a sign that read "No Dancing" and yet they played the hell out of Disco and dance tunes!
