Love Band Maid!!! There are a good few songs that we just don't have a HQ live performance recording of. So, there are a few to react to as MV. Songs like "Warning" and "Blooming", "From Now On" or Shambles" use the MV... Songs like "Play" or "Domination" or "Hate" should be Official Live...

There are many unique aspects to Real Existence that sets it apart from many rock songs: the starts and stops, Miku's little breakout vocal line, Akane's double tempo gallop, and Kamani's solo. I mean, who would ever put that kind of solo in a rock song? But it works... just like all of the plot-twists, complex density, and genre-merging they employ on most of their material. Interviewer - What’s the meaning of the name “BAND MAID”? Miku: I used to work at a maid cafe, and I thought “I want a band!” So it became BAND-MAID - maids in a band! Interviewer: Maid outfits aren’t exactly rock ‘n’ roll. What is your ultimate heavy metal costume? MIKU “Now Band-Maid’s outfits are part of rock n roll, so we pick these!” Interviewer: Why should people listen to Band-Maid? MIKU - “We’re not a pop idol group! Don’t judge us on how we look. We want to blow you away with our heavy rock sound.” MIKU “We want a big gap between how we look and how we perform in order to be unique,”. Interviewer - How did BAND-MAID come together? Did any of you know each other before joining the band? MIKU found KANAMI on KZbin video. Then asked KANAMI to join the band, and then KANAMI brought her friend, the drummer AKANE ...... Then, AKANE brought her friend, the bassist MISA. So the instrumental performers were all gathered through connections between musicians. After that, MIKU decided that she was not a strong enough vocalist for the band. So MIKU went looking for a singer and found SAIKI. KANAMI writes the music and brings that to MSA and AKANE who then refine the music together. MIKU writes the lyrics to the music and SAIKI helps to refine them. In some instances, HATE? for example, SAIKI wrote the song on her own. Bottom line - The band works together as a unit and all members get credit. No ego's in this band after 10+ years.

Great day 2 reaction. Excellent choice of song. Hmmm...what will be the next 28...can't wait to see. I hope "Daydreaming" OMV and "Blooming" OMV make the list. They are my #1 and #2. As for their Maid Battle Armor, they feel strange when they are not in them. There were two time where they were in other outfits. Their 2021 Christmas Live Acoustic show (tan and red outfits as those are the colors they associated with Christmas) and their "Bestie" OMV (being a collaboration song with Mike Einziger from Incubus, they when with a white theme many refer to as their Angel Battle Armor). BTW...the Maid designs have evolved for each member. Each "new" iteration changing to match their personalities. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘

Later it became “Domination,” live; which has now become “Hate?” Yokohama. You can bet they will soon deliver another live performance that becomes a must-see gateway drug. The interaction between Saiki and Misa was caused by Saiki losing her shoes crowd- surfing on the previous song. Her shoes fell off and she returned to the stage barefoot. Misa always plays barefoot and they were laughing about it while playing Real Existence. If you watch Saiki you can see she is barefoot
