Love the fallout 4 theme when she looks at the NCR flag
@Alex_Lottus7 ай бұрын
It's a very intense episode for me, I don't know, I watched the whole episode in one breath.🙈 In this episode, they did not explain about Shady Sans, the diagram in the classroom and it only brought more questions. At a party at Howard's house, a poster of a certain movie "A Man and his dog" hangs on the wall I'll assume that this is a reference to the movie "A Boy and his dog", which is one of the inspirations of the Fallout universe (the movie is actually very in the spirit, and before this series was just the most iconic movie) With the moment on the flag, goosebumps ran right under the violin from the Fallout theme! Everything was wrapped up great, especially with the mother of flame - she already has a whole cult! and also a woman who gave birth to a school of shark fish, which immediately devoured her. The shelter is interesting, of course, not the craziest thing that has been seen in games, but it's still interesting. Hopefully, in the best traditions of villains, Lucy will be told everything, and we will find out the secret and purpose of the shelter. I wouldn't wish a partner like Maximus on anyone. It was unclear why the nose was on the forehead, one eye instead of two, lol🙉 I'm not even going to ask how.. The swallow, it seems, is also their creation. I wonder if Cooper will get to this shelter and see what it advertises? An interesting idea is to make a one-eyed person have two eyebrows instead of a monobrow.😄 Apparently, for the same reason that he has standard glasses, not a monocle.🧐 People were crossed with species resistant to radiation.☢

So about the "Fall of Shady Sands" in 2077, I think the show communicated that a bit badly, that is not when Shady Sands got nuked, it's when Shady Sands started going into a decline, the game New Vegas, set in 2281 which deals with the NCR has no mention of Shady Sands being destroyed, but that the NCR has been going through a decline, so it's unclear when exactly Shady Sands got nuked
@SwiftJustice7 ай бұрын
But if you look at Maximus, who is in his mid twenties 19 years after 2277, when he looked about seven, it sure looks like it was bombed in 2277. (It's also not realistic to pinpoint the exact year something "started" to decline.)

While New Vegas doesn’t directly mention the Fall of Shady Sands, it DOES straight up tell you that Shady Sands isn’t the capital of the NCR anymore. In the quest G.I. Blues, you can ask a missionary for a free meal and he quizzes you on your knowledge of the NCR. One of the questions he asks is and I quote, “what WAS the ORIGINAL name of the NCR capital?” Saying “was” and “original name” makes it clear that Shady Sands isn’t the capital anymore, New Vegas just never explained why Shady Sands isnt the capital anymore. Now we know, though I wish they’d elaborate on what the Fall of Shady Sands actually was.

1:21 - the "Rads" is a short/slang term for radiation and the "Reds" is another name for communists. 2:39 - your intuition is as sharp as ever, Magy. You figured it out right at that point. 3:45 - he loved his wife so much, it's incredible to see. 4:35 - well done, Magy, you picked up exactly who voiced the robot! 8:13 - Lucy straight to the point, as always. It starts out really funny but as the conversation continues, you realize just how indoctrinated the people who join the Brotherhood of Steel are, how taboo certain subjects are. 10:05 - it's so interesting to see how Max calls it exactly like it is, with Lucy being the naive one but as the episode progresses, it's Lucy who finally gets to see things from Max's perspective, while our paranoid guy actually relaxes for once in his life, enjoying the comforts of a Vault and not listening to Lucy anymore. 10:38 - and things just got freaky, fast. 12:03 - you're right, Magy, that's definitely not the case. 13:20 - the best part about this episode is seeing more of Cooper's past life. We can see how he got more and more suspicious of everything that's been going on with Vault-Tec 14:50 - Charlie explained it perfectly, not just for Cooper but for us the viewers too. Fiduciary responsability is one hell of a drug... 18:40 - it's all about choosing the lesser evil, making the best out of a bad situation. 20:20 - Magy you're on a roll today! Calling them left and right! 22:00 - and that's how Max got "corrupted" into staying. Show a person who's been abused their whole life a shred of kindness and you have them wrapped around your little finger. 24:00 - that entire surprise history lesson certainly shocked Lucy to her core. 25:03 - on the container it was written "Cysts" 28:36 - this is where the plot thickens even more and it's so damn juicy! 28:54 - it's a funeral home - pogrebalen dom - where the meeting is being held. Lucy's meeting though, that was super creepy - cult hardcore! It's so cool how the two meetings, happening so many years apart, have the same figure of worship, Moldaver herself, the Flame Mother. 32:58 - that's the funny part, it doesn't need to be locked, level 12, because everyone is so compliant and happy to be safe, they wouldn't even dream to question orders. 34:04 - now that's a revelation - we finally find out how those weird salamander looking mutants were made...a woman gave birth to them... 36:28 - you summed it up perfectly, Magy, the entire episode. Your discussion after the episode was so good, proud of you for putting together so many puzzle pieces. Thank you for the epic reaction ❤

A lot of Vault experiments went very, very, wrong. Some of the monsters roaming the wasteland were created in vaults. Vault 22, for example, gave us giant bugs and plant monsters. Some monsters were made by other facilities connected to Vault Tech, but weren't made in vaults. We'll probably see some of those next season, like the Deathclaw, the Nightstalker, and the Cazador.
