Im so mad I just beat the moreau boss fight and went straight for his treasure and forgot that there was that chest down there, and now I cant go back down the mine shift elevator, I honestly might reload a save and do all of that over again, I need just 1 more fish to get the permanent health upgrade and if there's fish down there ima do it

Beat the game three times and missed this on all of them, guess I was on autopilot after the first. There's also a missable area right before meeting Chris with two catfish and a treasure I found though.

I think 20,000. I could be wrong. Either way, any money is worth getting considering the upgrades for weapons are so costly.

@@Jeptheplay That item was only 10,000. I was wrong. I have played 6 times and still don't have enough money for every upgraded weapon to have in my inventory. I find almost every treasure every playthrough too.

Forgot to go back and get it right after the boss and when I finally remembered and tried to go back the elevator no longer works. Kinda annoying that they arbitrarily prevent us from backtracking to previous boss areas

They do it so the game doesn't have to load huge chunks of the game all at once. They separate the areas so only the area that you are playing is active in the memory of your playstation/xbox/pc. It helps for a smoother game experience and prevents lagging and overheating. If you start noticing it you'll see it all the time. For example, when you get to the third lord's area you have to jump a high wall and you can't go back, so your gaming system stops loading the area that you were just in.

It's a tidy sum, that's for sure, but at that point I was already buying upgrades I don't need because I hated seeing the pile of cash in my wallet. Although - I was playing on Standard difficulty, I guess you gotta be more stringent on higher settings.
