GF12 is a really great whisky and a nice balance of age/price. After having not tried it for a few years, I came back to it last month. Really solid stuff - perhaps the best on the low end of things.

I agree. I had a dram recently and it's very enjoyable. I'm not a big fan of Highland Park 12 or Old Pulteney 12 and would prefer a bottle of this. For £25-£30 it's a good buy.

Glenfiddich 12 or JW black label ? rate out of 10

I don't really ratings but if forced is put them both in a 6/10 rating with the black edging slightly ahead for me

Easily Glenfiddich 12. Johnnie Walker Black is just too smokey. Double black is even worse, almost undrinkable.

The banana milkshake single malt - Ok for a week night (Now) and does the job well. It's a bit like a moped - Great fun but you wouldn't want your mates to know about it..
