After moving the game to App folder and refreshing it says "refreshed 0 items" and the game doesn't show up :o

I tried the dlc backup and when I refreshed live area it refreshed the items, however when I launched the game no dlc pop up.

make sure region matches up (GameID can differ per region, DLC not always region free) I suppose It's also possible that not every game has DLC pop ups at launch, but maybe the DLC is still accessible in other areas of the game?

Yes the regions are all the same, the game is Ys v8 btw, it has a dlc tab when you pause the game amd shows no downloadable content. Also, the app folder keeps showing up in my licenses folder for some reason despitw already being it's own folder under ux0:

@@Cronics_official hmm, I guess double check you have the correct files (uncompressed) inside the two correct folders and pathways. If you're working with original DLC files, ux0:addcont, if they are modded dlc files then ux0:readdcont (with rePatch plugin required for modded DLC \ game patches)

No matter what i try i just cant seem to get it working.. im using my phone as a pc as my laptop is broken, my file just shows 0kb and wont run games i get error msgs, its only for vita games and psp games arent showing apart from the warriors 🤦‍♂️ im going wrong somewhere i just dont know where...

I have the borderlands 2 1.09 update. I created a patch folder and put it in but doesn't do anything.

Folder name correct (and definitely not compressed?) Contents of the folder correct? (Not multiple levels too deep?) Region of the update you downloaded match the region of the game you have installed? (You can verify this by comparing the titleID in your update to the installed version in your vita content folder App) Refresh live area from vitaShell menu? If you’re not sure how to do it manually, you can always try using PKGJ to make handling updates and DLC a bit more automated and streamlined.

@@SkullatorNZ yup, that's what I did before I read this. Works fine now. I recommend everyone to do the same especially if they have other projects going on that can later cause confusion.

Hi, I just modded my ps vita recently and I have a question about the DLC part. I recently downloaded the game "Deception 4 - Nightmare Princess" and I have tried to install the DLC thru the PKGj v0.55, but some of the DLC can't be downloaded. (ex. Deception IV TNP - Humiliating Trap: Machine Gun Dancer the error was " SceDownload change_state DC0 failed: 0xffffffff ") So I decided to google the answers and manage to find the complete DLC for it. My question is, If I transfer the DLC from my phone thru FTP to my ps vita Uxo folder, do I just click the "Refresh LiveArena" button and it will be automatically applied? or do I need to do the NoNpDrm plug in trick? oh, and I already have installed the Autoplugin 2 on my ps vita as well. I just dont know what to do since I'm still new on modding my vita. Thank you.

not sure what the nonpdrm plug in trick is, my experience with nonpdrm is it's the best method of running content whenever possible, and it stays always running & rock solid once storage and things are all set up correctly. Anyways yes with nonpdrm formatted games, udpates and DLC you will need to hit triangle in vitaShell and do the refresh live area thing. For DLC specifically I would make sure your game is saved and closed before installing anything, then after the refresh live area relaunch your game, most games will recognize new DLC upon launch and give some kind of notification messages for your to spam buttons through. What about Updates? like you have for example Killzone 1.00 and they added a new patch 1.12,ok i download and then what,i need to locate the update in patch folder? i don't understand that,it's my first time dumping my games since i have lower internet 2.5mb and i don't want to download the ones that i have.

Nope. Nonpdrm lets you install games, updates and dlc. Maidump was an early app which made dumping easy. These days everything is archived for nonpdrm format

I have many games on 3.60 installed through PKGJ and even installed some PSP I could not find on PKGJ directly myself but when I try to install Earth Defense 2 from PKGJ i get a "cannot load save" when I try to start a new game. So yea...I wish I your method worked, I cannot put my finger on what's creating this issue.

Make sure you don’t ask any questions or go into any details, so that nobody has any chance of being able to help you 😅 Seriously though these days you can just look into one of the several plugin auto installers to make things easier without needing to understand how any of it works.
