It's amazing how much the Nonstop version improves the fluidity of the run. Sure, it's not perfect yet (still has star spawning animations etc.) it cuts off so much downtime, something that Mario games always have problems with.

Nice, some categories and rules in other games have cutscene skip mods and such, this seems reasonable. Also reasonable to keep it separate from normal 120, but equally impressive. Pretty sweet run lad

Cool run and concept! First time I've seen this category, it's honestly fun to watch. I'm assuming this is glitchless, but if it isn't/wasn't i wonder if it would be faster to blj into BitDW to get a star and a key so you don't have to revisit BOB and instead do it in one go later on.

I think he says about 3 mins in that the current wr uses lblj and that he will switch up the route after he gets wr.

​@@PESHajnal30 yes exactly, gonna switch up routes now LBLJ into dark world doesn't save much, because turning around out of bounds takes too long and you have to enter BOB twice the way I did anyways because you have to exit stage and reenter to spawn the koopa race LBLJ into WF (and CCM) is instant however and saves about 5s i been told

Not 70, but this is still such an impressive run. Even though you did mess up some stuff in the routing you still knew what to do to get a good time. It's a lot to remember, I'm sure I'd forget a lot of things. Congrats!

Would the new discovery about getting into the CCM hut from outside save time in this category? It would allow you to get the baby penguin star and the slide star without re-starting the level, but I dont know if it is faster

if i were to reenter ttm, i would spawn in the slide since i entered it in my first ttm visit and then died. spawning in the slide is really slow. we go to sl to reset that. after sl we spawn normally in ttm

Since we run on either a Gameshark or an Everdrive, the boot up would be much longer, so from the get go people decided to start on file select (we use another Gameshark code to soft reset the game, so it's not an actual reset)
