Farming is a noble profession so is bluffing. Mother nature dictates everything about farming and the poker gods have a lot to do with any run good you’re blessed with. One bluff not getting through changed the outcome of both sessions. Hey, you can’t win ‘em all. Love the reality showing us the ups and downs like a regular movie script. That was pretty cool sharing the rice knowledge. The public has no idea what it takes to walk in and grab a box of Uncle Ben’s off the shelf for $3. Combine…Only 3 choices, pay the acreage fee, rent or…..well you can always clean it up and bring it to your local car show on the weekend. Park it right next to the Lamborghini’s. The Combine costs more.

all i can say about the last 2 bluffs is YIKES!!! too much early success leads to wreckless futures. when you bomb turns you are laying a HUGE price since if this guy thought about things(he likely had a set) he should have simply called and let you bomb away the river.

While some argue that off suited aces are best cause there's 2 ways to make a flush, the best hand in poker ever created is suited aces! Funny story. I was playing poker at Seneca in Niagra Falls. 4 players went to show down on an ace high board. All of em had an ace.

19:45 Last night I raised JJ to $25 in a 1-2 game, guy on the SB called. Flop came T 2 2 rainbow, he checked and I went for a $50 c bet to try and take it down there, didnt put him on a 2 due to the pre flop call. He shoved for $150 and I called thinking he was trying to bluff me with his range. Prolly could have found a fold, but he flipped over T2o for the full house. Gotta love it when someone calls a decent size pre flop bet with a terrible hand and they land a monster. Thats why I love poker lol. Good video.

I look at my poker as one long continuous game. It just gets interrupted on the days I don't play. Family comes first. But when I go and lose $1200, I just look at winning it back later and I do. I recently lost $1200 one day, the next 2 sessions I won $400 and then $800. No big deal. When I win several times in a row, and build up my bankroll, all the better. If I lose several times, I know it's not going to last. I moved from 1/2 to 2/5 last December and I've done well all year. Sometimes I get in a PLO mood so I play some 2/2 or 2/5 PLO once in a while.

Do you think the games at Capitol are that tough that you feel you need to bluff as much as you do? Not saying to be a total nit but it could be unnecessary to over do it at this level, since people slow play a lot, are not thinking about your range, don’t like folding. I’d rather people think I’m a nit to get more bluffs through

I understand now why you have such a positive take on poker even when you lose. Your life and primaries are: family 1st and the RICE 2nd. Poker is third (excuse me if I'm mistaken). The rice field is your income. I said to my wife yesterday, that I need to get back to poker being fun. My wife said this to me... that poker is stressful for me now because I've made poker important and a source of income since I plan on quitting my job at the end of August to pursue my boba and rolled-ice-cream trailer business. I have a $100k food trailer built over the last year and now it's time. She said, before, I was just doing poker for fun. Now, I go to the card room with the intent and goal nightly to win $300 $500, or $1000 a night. Winning and losing now is tracked on a spreadsheet and if it doesn't show $2000-$4000 in earnings weekly, it's become stressful because I turned it into a JOB. Thanks for the video. It does help.
@NorCal_Poker5 ай бұрын
Those are my priorities & thanks for the perspective! Poker was taking a toll on me mentally when I just had it for side income & I was gunna give it up for good, but doing the vlog brought the joy back in it. When you separate money from poker (very hard to do) it makes it a lot more enjoyable!
