What's funny is how casually Noob Smoke's ending in Deception told the player this lol. It wasn't presented as some big twist. I had to immediately rewatch the ending in the Unlockables because I was so confused lol. I also remember my "Arcade lore" being that Sheeva was Goro's daughter who was trained to reclaim the title her father lost. And that Goro had a whole legion of kids waiting to challenge Liu Kang......Arcade lore was always more fun lol

Bi-Han is my favorite Mortal Kombat kharacter out of the whole bunch. As the original Sub-Zero, he's amazing at what he did. Now as Noob Saibot, he has untapped potential, for better or worse. I hope Bi-Han gets justice in future MK game(s)...I'd love to see the "Sub-Zero Bros." fight side-by-side and maybe alongside Scorpion/Smoke... I can dream for that day... but it's up to Ed Boon and Netherealm Studios... Thanks to Ed Boon and John Tobias for bringing this awesome Kombatant to life. I swear that is my dream see a “ninja squad” in mortal kombat ok we don’t need all of them maybe to many but like you said the most important ones, mk11 was very good but I want more focus and emotional on Noob saibot . scorpion feeling some sort of regret and not just blaming quan chi, sub zero there also and maybe ermac and reptile as helping force that would be dope and enough for me but it’s hard when Shaolin squad, liu kang is the main protagonist and focus now! He was never a horrible person as most seem to claim, especially since he seems to be so loved by members of the Lin Kuei, most notably his own Brother, Kuai Liang. However; while that darkness was already there. He was still corrupted by Quan Chi's magic, so much so that his entire identity had to be stripped of him in order to fully corrupt him or so most think. I'm also not sure why most people take Bi-Han's own words as Noob Saibot to heart? Like- the Dude is literally corrupted, why trust him 😂

In the latest live action movie, after Sub-Zero is defeated by Cole and Scorpion, you see his body being consumed by black smoke. Tho Shang-Tsung uses the black smoke to teleport throughout the movie, as Sub-Zero's body was being consumed by it I immediately thought of Noob.

I think the thing that always had MK being such a good franchise is that they find ways to connect most of the characters. Manipulation is so high in these games that it’s always shocking at times. I know they love restarting the games but I genuinely enjoy all the back stories and how all these characters end up where they are.

He’s such a tragic character. Great warrior doomed from the very beginning by many reasons he couldn’t control. Now a husk of his former strength. No more family. No more clan. No more honor. And all he can do is accept the facts for what they are, because some lighting guy with a cool hat told him to. His routine has been arrive, lose, leave, and repeat it all over again. What a horrible and sad fate for someone who was once a great warrior and revered for his skill and technique.

Always knew the lore deep and convoluted, daaamn! Haha. Good read, dude. How many takes or restarts did it need. Facts came at me fast and heavy. Noob is awesome, so certainly worth it. But I like the whole MK universe as a whole. One thing I missed. Here and even when playing, is where and how (besides the Lin Quay’s cybernetic initiative) Sub-Zero came to be Cyber Sub-Zero and then when he ultimately reverted back. Even before the revelation of MK Deception, the elder / Original Sub-Zero as Noob Saibot is similar to being a writing on the wall all along as early as MK2. - In MK2, he had the same fighting stance and victory pose as that of Sub-Zero - By UMK3 for the SNES and MKTrilogy, he had that disabling cloud which disabled opponents from making special moves (a near derivative of the Deep Freeze which in turn disallows opponents from moving), as well as the Saibot throw (a derivative of Sub-Zero's Slide which takes opponents off guard). Likewise, his Saibot clone could be treated as a moving derivative of Sub-Zero's Ice Clone. - In MK4 / MKG and as a hidden character, he had Sub-Zero's freeze and shatter fatality.
