Things to keep in mind, little minions aren't really for pushing, they're for the big heal when they die. Suck green early and speed late in ground stance, infinite mana and tankiness early and a more safe and threatening mid late. Having double buffs is super powerful. A lot of the trouble with tiamat is figuring which ult to use when, prio is bull in 1v1, tornado if you can confirm the cc and CONSTANTLY in teamfights (you dropped a lot of kills by using the bull which you overvalued a bit), and little guys early for healing.

​@@Gundam-FuryTiamat is pretty good right now tho. This build just isn't it. If you go the gem of focus proc build she hits waaay harder. Late game everytime you clip someone even just barely with any ability it does like a 3rd of their health. The 1 if hit fully does like 60%, maybe more. With conduit and tablet she is ok in the early and mid game and late she is straight up disgusting.

I have a lot of gods diamond, mostly warriors and guardians, and Tiamat is the only mage I’ve ever gotten to Diamond. She can seem underpowered when your first getting used to her, but once you find that right build and get used to her abilities she can dominate games. Also, Tiamat tiny minions are super underrated. The tornado is usually what people spam, but it’s honestly such a good idea to keep the tiny bois out as much as possible, especially with the giant heal they give you when one dies. Edit: As far as cooldown goes, I don’t go out of my way to “spam” cooldown. It’s good, but most of the time you’re playing as her, you should be playing in flying stance, and only going into ground stance when you need the extra CC or the Purification from her ground ult. Cooldown isn’t a must have because you shouldn’t be constantly be spamming the stance switch. Her flying kit is much better and the ground is just situational. I usually hit 30% between soul gem (which is a must have), and the new Cloak of Protection + 1 other situational item. Also for reference, I prefer to play solo with Tiamat having a 90% solo lane winrate.

I agree 100%. Shes also my only diamond rn and over half my games are just tiamat. I do think her minions are underrated too. But there are so many abilities that shes bound to have a couple that are underrated

My problem with Tiamat is entirely in the 3 cooldown, I feel like it's a few seconds too long. Other than that I think she's great. Though to be fair, if the 3 cooldown was too short, Tiamat would be crazy OP.

@@CottidaeSEA cooldown is a definite must on her. With close to max cooldown or at max cooldown the jump isn’t on to long of a cooldown I think it’s like 12 seconds. Anything shorter I think would be to dumb and maker her already spammable kit better but she’s strong enough.

Mast if you click her ult stance then bring up the ablity stat menu you can see her cooldowns and dmg numbers in each part of ult

Tiamat's three helps me secure kills or gets me out of sticky situations, also her ult has such low cooldown that you can spam it a lot which is fun. Her ult's minions go in order of strongest her bull, the tiny minions, and the tornado. though with this season and how many group fights I've seen in mid I've used the tornado the most. I love tiamat but she's hard to learn at first and honestly lead a lot of people to say she's trash.

I've been playing Tiamat on and off since release and did well with her before Tablet was a thing, so she doesn't need it but it would be good for sure. She feels way better when you get spots where you can confidently jump into their team after dumping your flying stance abilities and clean up in the ground stance, or vise versa if they try to dive you. Plus her lizard minions are super helpful for healing + scales rather than just simply split pushing, but you can easily send some down a lane when heading to FG and have your ult ready again for the actual fight as well.

The minions push potential got giga nerfed compared to what it was. I mainly use them for heals or scales. They also come with a beefy power debuff for gods they happen to hit so there's that too.

I have a few stars on Tia she is one of my favorite mages I feel allot of people think you just throw out abilities and that’s all there is to her but she has allot of intricacies to her kit, and you can definitely tell a good Tiamat from a bad one.

putting down your minions is actually really strong .. not for splittpushing (its still good for it) but you get eat them with your ground stance an get a shit tone of midigations and be tanky as hell with no def items
