If you want the animation to loop, then add a keyframe to the start & end of the photo but don't move it. Add this wherever you want the animation to be at that same place. Then, you can add animations inbetween for movement. I haven't tried this on Dreams yet but it should work!!

The animation turned out really nice! I myself struggle a lot with procreate dreams since it doesn’t have the tools a use a lot in procreate. I still don’t really understand the track feature, it’s quite confusing for me lol. The flipbook feature was pretty clunky for me too and I was really looking forward to doing frame by frame animation in the program but it’s crashed on me twice so I find it a little difficult to use. I hope the issues it has gets fixed in future updates and they add tools that are missing cause it definitely has potential! I’ve seen a lot of cool animation being made with it already.

@@PeriluneStar oh my gosh, the lasso tool was my absolute main tool I used in my process! Same with liquify, I haven’t found that in Procreate Dreams yet.

With all the praise I heard they’ve been given for considering the community, I hope they include the features you mentioned and take feedback from everyone instead of putting it off like homework. It’s not that I don’t have any faith in them or dislike the app, its just that I’ve seen too many occasions of people giving a service and thinking “it’s good enough” or giving the excuse “it’ll be good eventually”. You did a great job with this, so I’d wanna see the app reach its potential so both beginners and experienced artists like you have more opportunities to show what you can do! Okokok I have an idea: primordial elves. They are the first elves that created the seasons and all the flora that exists presently. They either now remain dormant or watch over the elves as some omnipresent beings, not quite physical there, but in the wind that blows and the raindrops that fall. Maybe they perished when facing some sort of calamity and created the current elves to succeed them or they simply decided that they did enough and created the current elves to take over for them as they lay dormant, in case a great catastrophe happens. Now, the current elves are the caretakers of the world, each with their own special powers and duties.

Procreate Dreams would be the perfect animation software for me if it wasn't missing so many key features! No lasso tool, can't copy paste individual layers, no liquify, and it CONSTANTLY crashes.

Recomend toonsquid it's got a lot of features and is pretty cheep and I have had animations where I have had a lot of layers and it hasn't crashed don't know if it has liquefy or not a lot of animation programs don't but I haven't looked into liquefy on toonsquid. It also has a pretty decent selection tools. It's mostly good for tweening though you can do some frame by frame too.

Your animation turned out fantastic! There are some glitches in Procreate Dreams and hopefully some updates will be coming soon. I really don’t like the way it adds a track every time a track is grouped. Also, I have a new iPad and have had crashes. Thank you for doing this video and I hope you get back to your full health soon. I just subscribed and will be looking forward to more animation tutorials. You’re learning a lot faster than I am.

Yay a new upload! 🎉 I’m so sorry about your voice and being sick! I hope you feel better and that you rest it! I lost my voice for the second time ever about a month ago and I sounded weird 😂 I definitely wasn’t careful enough when symptoms started showing so I ended up with a croaky voice that would just stop in the middle of a sentence. I used google translate to talk to my family because I got so fed up with my voice being broken 😂😂 I’m so excited to watch the new video! You’re always the top video in my recommended on Saturday mornings because KZbin knows I like routine and you’re a part of my weekly routine! :)

Your Elf is so cute! I love her design and hope this isn't the last time we see her😁😍 I have very low patience for apps that crash as well and it takes me a while to get used to new apps. But practice makes perfect.😄 It always gets easier the more you use it! Also try some tea with honey. I recommend Bigelow's Lemon & Ginger and all natural honey. My family also got really sick and I gave them hot tea for about a week and they're feeling much better! Also the tea is amazing.🤤

I feel like their usual strong points for procreate (very simplified interface) actually makes dreams much more confusing to use. All of the things that seem like they should be simple, like just duplicating a frame is weird because they are all just completely hidden and gesture based. Even after I’ve watched a bunch of tutorials it is still hard for me to get used to/remember how to use the app. They want this to be mainstream and easy to use, but for me personally I’d rather there just be a couple more on screen menus, or tapping and holding on icons should have pop up menus that explain certain things. Still looking forward to the future of the app, and am glad I can finally casually get into 2d animation like I’ve always wanted to.
