NOOB vs PRO: Tree Harvesting Lumberjack Challenge! (Scrap Mechanic Gameplay)

Back again with more Noob vs Pro Scrap Mechanic! Today we are in dev mode in a survival world to try out a lumberjack tree cutting challenge! Although the new creative mode update spawns trees it unfortunately doesn't let us collect the logs so we're using a survival world instead! Whoever collects the most logs before time runs out is the winner!

To be fair, this build is far superior to any survival build. Usually he breaks down the logs with the hammer but this build worked very well at doing it with saw blades

when cutting down trees use your weld tool to gather the logs. Its much faster and lets you move hole loads on to your car. If you weld it on to only one block you can pop off that block to unload.

YAY, u listened to my advice on using the flat part of the saw blades 👍👍👍 That little logging vehicle will also work a treat on the ember trees. Just chop the whole ember forest in 1 sitting and then run around like a madman picking up embers.

Ok but like .. semi useful survival tip Use the weld tool to weld all the rods together and welf them onto your collector, remove the one touching the collector and itll suck all them up

Been waitting for one of these, never played the game nor I intend to as the singleplayer seems quite too easy. While I'd only go for survival useful build on the creative mode. Topping at 100 hours at most. But I like watching these for some unknown reason

Do you think we could even get an upload for the tracks you use? I'm talking mainly stuff like the train race track etc. and the monday multiplayer tracks. They're honestly crazy fun looking and I'm sad to not see the files for them anywhere. By the way, you and your group of friends are the sole reason I've come back to this game after 2+ years, didn't realize so much had changed!

There's no need for the /ammo command when you're using unlimited inventory. Not sure if kAN plays with dev mode very often, so he may not have realized it, or it could have just been a slip up but either way I just figured it was useful info. Great videos, kAN, keep up the good work!

bruh the test branch just got updated and added chests, vaccum pumps, Craftingbots and the trees / stones drop the rods and you can refine them into actual block amounts.

Aww man! You guys didn't drive those loaded trucks past a collector. That's the funnest part about harvesting! Seeing how great just two saws were i wonder what's the absolute ultimate would be with automation and whatnot. My personal best is about 250 'splinters' as i call them per day on a fully automated 6-blade machine. And now that you mentioned it, pushing wood into the side of the blade is a legit woodworking technique. Some table saw blades actually have sandpaper there, but more often that that you'd push into the side of the teeth to either make a shallow trough or to somewhat smooth a surface (think half-lap joint done with a hand-held circular saw or a chain saw for example).

pro note: you can use the weld tool to connect several logs together without carrying them making you move faster and transport several logs at once to the truck. and yes, the logs can weld side to side or point to point.

The best way to cut trees, and also stones is actually by putting them in a angle but also on extremly weak suspension

Also did you know that if you open the gas container and drag from the inventory to the gas container it allow you to type how many you want to insert for quick insertion!

Kan uses music from channels like No Copyright Sounds which has some real gems. Scrapman uses music from the PooTube Audio Library as it is safer.

The Sabotage challenge though!!! Just add it to Dapper's options! I think that after either a swap or sabotage, both people should get time to fix their car - that way its always a playable competition for everybody. Sabotage as a restriction on the vehicle exe: -1 wheel or bearing, or suspension..?

man i was exited that this came out 1 minute ago until i realized my listening experience is horrible after my headphone cord got ripped out of the pc jack and broke the PC. Not the cord, not the headphhones, not the jack, _The pc._ I've tested each of the suspect breaks. Somehow, having the headphone cord ripped out of the jack broke the PC audio and i can't hear the voices specifically.
