Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

@@chikkynuggy7522 it's actually all right cuz all the features you don't have to pay for. However the lack of the large cockpit and the largest and smallest engines is upsetting. I'm okay with DLC for cosmetics, but those are actually utility parts.

21:53 Yzuei just accidentally did a Kvochur Bell maneuver, which is an actual maneuver used in aviation. It was also shown off in Top Gun Maverick. It was named after a Russian test pilot, Anatoly Kvochur. This move can only be done in supermaneuverable aircraft, such as the SU-27 or SU-33

I think you should do a challenge were you can build anything, but for every 5 power cores, you have to add one dynamite. You get infinite respawns until your dynamite explodes

So Having spaced out guns and missiles, along with high durability and manuverability seen to be a good choice. So have more guns that are spaced out and have more missiles that are also spaced out with the ability to go really fast if you want to, and being really hard to destroy would be a good idea.

Having the wings integrated with blocks was actually better then having straight wings blocks, as it was more bulkier and took a while to even destroy. You could tell from Corn's first plane performance also my reasoning is correct because they took out the tail first as it was only a couple pieces of tail fins blocks

Can we talk about how GOOD Yuzi is at building? Honestly all the multiplayer with this group have really stepped up the quality of builds. Both the original version and this one of the cargo plane vs fighter jets have some great looking vehicles

Video Idea: fighter jets can have as my power cores as you want, but can only use the seat controls for steering. No control surfaces or thrusters or pivoting, etc for steering.

Wow, CornDog's cargo plane was beefy. I thought for sure they were going to have a hard time when Yzuei said the gatling's couldn't aim. Also, Yzuei's jet design was fire! So many features. I love Kosmo's design as well, A10's are one of my favorite planes. Everyone did super well here.

Mr ScrapMan I would absolutely LOVE to see a series of this maybe with more players or different like scenarios like bombers attacking a base and the defenders use fighter jets to defend. Maybe switch up teams, or maybe have like ground based defenses to fend off one heavy bomber from a base. Lots of cool things you could do now with this update!!! Not to mention evolution battles now... Sheeeeeesh that's gonna be fun!!! I'm excited!!! Please give a like on the comment and add any ideas if you guys like this idea!!! I have an idea. Try doing a similar challenge with a part limit, a power core limit, and some tnt parts must be placed for every 50 parts or so on a creation (smaller and less complex creations will have less tnt on them). That way you can simulate having a fuel container explode if you hit in the right place on a creation.

18:20 you guys should do also a heavy fighter/bomber fight. Like put guns on the front of the cargo planes too and battle each other that way but make it fair so like you can't stack most of your guns in the front and just fly really slow or vice versa have them all at the back and try to get the other team behind you to blast them. Just 2v2 in giant planes which both have tail gunners.

I think this game mode would be cool with a bomber trying to bomb some targets while the fighter planes try to stop it. Essentially, this but with a bombing win condition for the large plane.

Maybe now use the bomb bays and make strategic bombers, like the bombers have to bomb an objective and the 3 fighters have to stop the bomber, like use the airborne map and defend a factory. Have the bomber start from the other end of the map.

Scrapman i think it would be a cool idea to try to make remote controlable sticky bombs for airborn campaign. So you can attack the sticky bombs and explode them with the press of a button

As much as Yuzei's plane is really cool, i think you should lay down rules for or against glitch-placed parts that should not be allowed by the build system under normal circumstances. It seems unfair to me if only one person is using glitches.
