Nooblets, they also heal your dinos when you stand close to them. They actually do it very quickly as well. I'm not sure if planted ones have the same effect but wild ones definitely heal dinos.

You can also use the fruits when you get picked up by a creature like a megalosaur it drops you if it gets hit with the flashbang(idk if it works on karkinos but i think it will) this can come in handy when you or your mount gets picked up

they act as a buffer zone for the nameless, IE: building in the blue or red zones, you fill your base area with these and keep them fat with fert and the nameless shall not pass or spawn near your base, pretty simple idea. and the fruit is for the queen, you need them to deal with her when you want her to do the nasty with you to get her babies for your own ! the fruit is also for PVP as people will get totally rekt if you get them in the face with one. also its not a tongue, think of it like an antenna that emits a light or frequency that keeps the nameless at bay.

The wiki says that you need to stand next to one with "an active charge light source". I'm not sure if that's true, but you did have a charge buff when you cut back in to show the seed drop.

The grenade as 2 functions: impact detonation and standard timed detonation (like a drag grenade). Hope this helps!

Right and Left click do different throws, the dinos have to be facing the blast to be blinded, and you can avoid being blinded by turning away after you throw it.

Nice thing about plant Z's in the wild is that they also heal your dino's at a rapid rate. Very good for healing herbivores with a lot of health.
