One skill new players may want to look at picking is guard. It may be a bit complicated to explain, but it makes it easier for players to assist other players when they're blocking. For most players it requires a double on level up, so it can be tricky to get and you may not want to prioritise it for all players as there are a lot of other skills, each with their use.

I'd suggest Guard only for heavy bashy teams and then only on their frontliners (Black Orcs, Chaos Warriors, any big beef mother truckers who are going to get hit).

I never looked at builds. I just fiddled with the game until I found what I liked. Skaven probably my fave followed closely by wood elves since they can make a lot of fast plays and dodge a lot of tackle zones.

TFAegislash 57 depends if you want the passing game or the bashing game. Skaven can handle the ball, so run like hell when you get it. Orcs have better armor than Skaven, if it's your first time it's the safe bet. Started with Skaven for blitzmania so had two died during the season.

YAY! BLOOD BOWL!!! Love this game. :) Anybody else think this game needs a "Timer Off" mode for private matches? I mean, I get for competitive and online play it is needed, but I have one helluva time teaching new players without using campaign mode, and sometimes me and my buddies like to chill between turns, maybe smoke one... The timer kills conversations, and makes this game REALLY antisocial... Can't talk while you are playing YOUR turn, and talking during your buddy's turn is practically cheating if you distract them for like more than 20 seconds....

Yannay Levi look up a KZbinr named cknoor, blood bowl is their primary game and they have a beginner's guide series. Most of the series is from blood bowl 1,but the rules are the same .

and after the experiences with the last youtuber league, I doubt he's going to be doing one like that again, it was hard to organise AND a lot of them flaked out part way through anyway (Dodger was infamous for being both shit at blood bowl AND had no interest in it so her matches were just awful to watch and not because she barely knew what she was doing, the commentary was awful too because she clearly wasn't having fun).

Their playstyles differ a bit. If you take a look at their roster they have access to different kinds of players. Just take a look yourself, but to summarise quickly: Undead are generally more sturdy thanks to their good Mummies (essentially Big Guys without Negative Traits), Necromantics are faster thanks to Werewolves, which are also very dangerous when developed.

I doubt anyone will respond since this is an old video. But in the off chance someone does. Can you tell me what the difference is in the Settings under General for the Log option. You can choose between Simple and Detailed, but I can't seem to spot the difference.
