Oh my goodness Noodles is such a good girl when it comes to grooming. When we got our Maltipoo last year, I started by brushing him every single day, I purchased your grooming set, eventually a grooming attachment for my table as it was very high. He has fought against being brushed from day one, when he was a pup, and only had him a few days, we went into our pool area, and being inquisitive he fell into the pool, poor thing was shivering 🥶 like crazy. We bathed him, to get the pool water off him, dried and brushed him and since that day and every time since he also fights the bath. It’s amazing the strength he has. I tried persevering but have given up trying to bath or groom him,\ he goes to the groomer every 4 weeks now. I always give him treats while brushing telling him what a good boy he is, but he still hates being brushed ! He willing comes into the room waits for his treat then all the treats in the process, and a treat ball at the end. I think he has super sensitive skin, I could only ever use a brush when his fur was long, now it’s shorter, it all has to be done with a comb. I used to have to wear leather gloves because he constantly kept trying to bite me. He occasionally does when I do his legs but I go as gently as I can, I always have, it seems many others also have this problem. The groomer said she thinks her neighbours must think she is murdering the puppies because they can object so loudly 😂. She is so gentle and he loves going there, but fights her also. Hoping with time he will eventually stop fighting it, but his skin is quite pink, but doesn’t scratch. He isn’t fed any tin food, only fresh grass fed meat (no grain fed) chicken makes him itchy, so that’s always avoided, his biscuits are kangaroo, also his treats. It’s extremely difficult to purchase treats or biscuits that are not chicken ! I have to purchase his biscuits online, they aren’t full of all the crap that so many are. It’s certainly challenging! I just wish our little Maltipoo was as good as Noodles when it comes to grooming…I love it when you have shown videos of her falling asleep when you brush her…oh, if only !!!! You little Noodles is adorable….but I love our Quinny 🐾🐾💕💕💙💙

So funny, grooming Noodles is tranquil and graceful. Grooming my dog, a Shih Tzu poodle, is like an action movie. There’s wrestling, and he tries dramatic escape tactics. He will scream in pain, and I think I’ve cut him, but no. Not a drop of blood. Maybe I pulled a hair? He knows I’m a softie, too! It takes hours, and even then, it’s not a good job lol.

@@dougspidermanhappy seems they got super lucky with Noodles…. I hear more fight than don’t. But with groomers if they go regularly they eventually become used to it and are usually ok. Our Quinn is getting better, sounds like your dog pulls every trick in the book too, they’re such rascals hey ! If I ever tried to trim Quinn he would just yank away so fast, no matter where it is, but the weird thing is he now lets me shave with the super mini dog trimmer for the face. He suddenly just rests his head in my hand and lets me trim the fur around his eyes, it must annoy him, that’s why he lets me, because he still doesn’t like it if I’m not happy with how the grimmer does around his mouth, I like the teddy bear face, and if she doesn’t round it, I trim it to take off that long looking snout she sometimes does. I have to try and remember to remind her to trim him like this. If I can do a semblance of what I want then she should certainly be able to, she forgets. I have to get in the habit of saying exactly how I want him trimmed. Puppies certainly are our best friend, their antics can be so funny. My friend has a shitzu poodle mix too. I don’t know what she’s like when it comes to grooming but she is a terror and chews up everything…. I mean everything !! 😂😂😂 Good luck with your puppy, they say they will eventually get used to it, but don’t say how many YEARS it takes. I congratulate you, you’re more patient than me. Just to bath Quinn was like a 2 hour marathon, it was exhausting ….. 😂😂🤣🤣❤️❤️

The styling of Noodles ears is so adorable! I like the "scrunchie on top of her head" look - I think it's my favorite. A close second are the braided ears....OMG! My sister has a King Charles Cavalier & I think the up-do on Molly's ears would look sweet. Noodles' wardrobe and accessories are beyond cute! The necklaces kill me! Waiting to see more.... especially meetings with Hank in HR!

Love your vids! Noodles is such an exceptional little girl, probably in part to your exceptional patience and kind & gentle methods. Noodles is rare! My Morkie goes Cujo when she is groomed. If she sees a brush in my hand she turns into a greyhound and the chase is on. I would love for her to have the long curly hair of her breed but it gets so matted. Was Noodles always this passive?

My Maltipoo hates it too….he fights it all the time. You would think after being brushed every single day he would get used to it, nope he still fights it especially the legs ! I have given up bathing and grooming and we take him to the groomer every 4 weeks, it’s too big a struggle he fights against it so much I end up so scratched and bruised….it’s exhausting and not worth it. I let the professional do it now. I tried everything, every trick in the book, treats, nothing has ever made a difference. It’s easier to pay someone to do it, just wish I hadn’t wasted so much money on all the grooming products I purchased !
