As a East African, I am glad many people are experiencing African tunes and sounds. Africa has many generes of music and some sounds you may recognize as there are western artists who added western components and harmonics to the original roots. I urge everyone to go on a music tour of all 54 African countires and to start all the way back and work your way down to todays date. You will hear sounds from various regions from instruments you never knew existed. Welcome to the beautiful world of music & Enjoy my friends! P.S. Do this to every single country on this planet, your soul will thank you.

IT ALL COME FROM AFRICA, and is still there in the African villages!!!
@carrington294911 ай бұрын
@Maymaymaok No it did not. It came from American blacks. Jazz is considered the only true American art form. The jazz you hear in Africa is also due to travel and influence of African American pre and post World War. We also invented rock n roll. Country music is a descendent of blues music also started by American blacks. Jazz does have other influences with bass from our African ancestors and even classical music from Europe. However it is a unique American art form created by African Americans, We are descended from Africa but we have formed our own culture and arts. It does not take away from African’s contributions to music and the arts. However you only get various art forms when one group invents it from their own particular experiences and exposure to the world. That is very different for an African American vs an African.
