That meme about the wolves doesn't even hold a candle to how it was, for anyone to have an idea on how bad it was, it's stimated that several packs of around 40 to 50 wolves roamed around the eastern front, and austrians had to deal with them too, not just the russians and the germans, to this day it's still unknown why the wolves behaviour changed so much, but it's hypothetised that due to a lack of prey and because of all the blood and corpses from the war, the wolves got attracted

To the question how the few thousand Cuban exils were going to conquer Cuba was that they thought that the people would rise up against Castro, but the thing is most people actually didn`t mind being under communist rule that much and many actually prefered it to being an American puppet state. So there was no uprising and the Cuban military just easily deafeated the invadors and Castro became a national hero and Cubas position on the Soviet side in the Cold war was cemented.
