If Megumi outright said he was his son, Toji wouldn’t have continued to fight which would avoid Megumi vs Haruta where he summons Mahoraga and also avoided Sukuna vs Mahoraga preventing the Shibuya massacre. A lot of things could’ve changed if Megumi knew who is father was.

I know where gege is going with this.. Almost every anime starts with the main charrectors gettting a crazy power level so randomly but here yuji won't jump to those straight away but slowly.. We are witnessing a growth of a charrector in full detail, bit by bit and understanding an emotional reason behind each power level he has had so far... And there will be a point when he will indeed outrank every single person in jjk verse.. Right now he is in the middle level rank but soon he will be at the highest level rank.. It took him this much to get to middle where he lost every loved one and in order to reach his maximum power levels he's gonna have to go through something worse which he will... There is so much difference between the current yuji and the yuji from the starting season... No one *NO ONE* not a single person has had growth like him and you have to agree on this...
