But, as crazy as it sounds, Uncle Grandpa surpasses even that. Not only does Uncle Grandpa have the same kind of feats, but he also has negated other people with said abilities, but his power goes beyond the confines of his own multiverse. He has on several occasions either invaded other multiverses (Like what he did to Steven Universe), merged multiverses together (Like he did for the Uncle Grandpa Awards), and he can do pretty much all of this without any sort of crutch or reliance. The issue with other Toon Force users, like Spongebob or Popeye, is that they often have narrative crutches to their power. Popeye could technically do pretty much anything, but he only taps into that well when he has his spinach. Likewise, if someone makes Spongebob feel or look weak, which is pretty easy because he already sees himself as a "knucklehead mcspazzatron" mentally, he isn't busting out the multiversal feats. Uncle Grandpa's base mental state has no such limit, and making him emotional only makes it WORSE for you. Lord forbid you take away his oatmeal day, or wake him up on the wrong side of the bed, because he will be the greatest threat in all realities when you do.

And if he isn't chosen then his sister, Deedee, would be a great choice as she also has Toon Force. I can't believe you are asking how the PPG can compare. Imagine if Superman had no real weakness other than being an inexperienced kid, now imagine that there are three of him. To be fair, we never really do see Steven's power ceiling. With Jasper, he ended the fight effortlessly. And he was not really in a tactically effective state of mind in the monster state. With emotional-based powers, the kaiju form is probably a downgrade. He is definitely nowhere close to Ben's level, though.

Otherwise you end up wanking a character well past the level they've shown by being too generous. Steven at his strongest shown state (Pink Monster Form) is at best small mountain level by feats. And in his weaker forms he isn't even town-level unless you go through some mental hoops.

Finn is pathetically weak to be of any relevance in the Akatsuki setup. In the same way the likes of consistent Gumball is. He is basically the Hidan of this group. Except Hidan had the Death/Jashin hax to reflect damage and immortality to make him dangerous to fight + hypersonic speed and skill to give Early Shippuden Kakashi (someone who is already a stomp-gap above his younger lightning timer iteration) a fight. He is by no means up there. Especially since he consistently struggled with things far less than a Bijuu which can wreck entire cities and mountains casually. This all pains me to write, btw. Because I am a Finn fan. But I'm just being realistic when you compare him to the things he'll be going up against here and his own consistent capabilities without outside intervention, or even when compared to his own teammates.

People hyper-focus on Alien X whenever they talk about Ben. Way Big can shoot a laser that can destroy planets. Gravattack can create black holes. Atomix pretty casually creates a miniature sun that persists after he de-transforms. Clockwork can basically do ANYTHING that involves time. Including completely reversing the results of a time bomb that destroyed every other Ben across the MULTIVERSE. And while yes, you could argue Alien X could easily do all of this, the point is is that it's not the ONLY thing Ben has that's nuts.
