@@shrinivaskajarekar2036 "Pride of Pakistan" is a designation given by the govt. for artists, not a value judgement. Get off your chauvinistic high horse and give some respect to the artist. It isn't her fault that the condition of music in Pakistan is where it is good or bad..

I think the tablas accompaniment is making her uncomfortable? This majestic instrument, I think, should ONLY be played solo, but this opinion is coming from an untrained musician. Regardless, the performance is SPLENDID. Listening from the Philippines.

But she can follow the taal. But I agree this instrument is perfectly suited to Dhrupad, therefore the pakhawaj should accompany it.
