I liked this movie a lot. When the big reveal happens with the ufo it literally made me rethink everything I thought I knew about ufos. Honestly how many sci-fi or horror movies can do that? It was very entertaining too and had more than a few funny moments. All around a good movie.

Flick, you ever see Synecdoche, New York? A movie about a guy making a play but within the play they make another play, then characters start casting actors as themselves to recreate scenes that happened in the movie but as now part of the play. Its a trip!

I really enjoyed this movie. I love how the fact that OJ is a horsr handler which plays into the story. Acting wise, everyone did a great job. Keke Palmer brought a good amount of the humor, but also had some very strong emotional moments. I also love that this wasn't just Jump Scare Fest 2022, it was more about building the tension of the situation. I for sure want to see it again.

The pacing in this movie was the biggest problem for me. Our main characters were great and the overall cast is astounding, but I wanted more backstory with our two main characters and their animosity towards each other. Also the reaction to the UFO/creature should’ve been more freaked out and profound. Even when their father died I never felt that there was much emotion there besides OJ being downtrodden and silent but it seems like he’s always like that. The subplot with the chimp is arguably the most tense and best part but I don’t think it’s tied together very well in the end. I do like Jordan Peeles influence from M night, you can tell he’s a main influence. Overall I enjoyed it but was a tad disappointed with how everything came together in the end.

Like he said the thrills of the whole movie was kinda more satisfying then the mystery being uncovered at the end in my opinion, acting and cinematography were out standing, get out and us were such good movies though I think I’d put this last even though as a child I was a huge signs and alien movie type fan. The unknown freaks me out but when you see the unknown at the end in my opinion kinda a weird awkward let down. Not sure why.

I didn't like the pacing of the movie and felt Peele was trying to blend too many genres into it. I mean I loved the idea he had but the execution was horrible. The way the old man left was weird and kinda not really known why he did what he did. The TMZ guy seemed like he was there to explain the bike she needed. And give him something to eat. I would say this is Peele's worst movie to date. Still trying to figure out the plot.
