Still don't understand why people think Karl's an actor,let alone a comedian?Karl's a typical working class man,brought up on a council estate in manchester,who had a fairly happy childhood,but hated school.just a normal bloke that speaks his mind.unfortunately his mind is like a pinball machine full of nonesense,that he speaks before he thinks
@archiewall1243 ай бұрын
@@fvefve12it kind of is unintentional though because he’s just being himself. It’s not like he suddenly changes into this funny character. From the day he was first on radio he was funny.
@elvisleeboy3 ай бұрын
@@markcutting6504Perhaps so, but I'm convinced that he's aware that he's funny and that he knows full well that the things he says will achieve laughs. If he was as simple as many people think, he would have struggled to be a bin man, let alone the producer of a national radio show.
@elvisleeboy3 ай бұрын
@@archiewall124His gift is being able completely sell it by keeping a straight face. There is not a hint that he knows in his facial expressions, but he absolutely knows that the things he says are funny. For example, why would he refer to the Great Wall Of China as the "all right wall of China"? There is no other reason than knowing it's a funny line. I think a lot of people are fooled simply because he's fooled Ricky Gervais into thinking he's simple.

I absolutely love British TV …I alternate subscriptions!! Stage is one of my favorites!! I enjoy learning a different vocabulary with the subtitles!! The comedy and mystery!! Especially because as diverse as we are in USA the British are as well!! I also enjoyed What we do in the shadows which is an adaptation to the New Zealand movie by the same title, crossed over to USA …British actors as are American actors in the series that are hysterical. I watch New Zealand with subtitles because I will get visual of the words and look up the definition!! I also enjoy British podcasting, audiobooks it helps me keep up my vocabulary sharp!! I’m a flight attendant 25 years when I use to the London route six times a month my English began to change. I still read subtitles because I find even in Bewitched series, like the heavy hitter and eloquent actress, Agnes Moorhead!! I learn words and expressions. Just the way Agnes plays her parts are truly unique. No one can ever match her talent!! All I am stating is you can learn so much if expand your horizons, just a click of a button!! My vocabulary has dramatically changed. It all began for me with Are you be served and upstairs down stairs series!! Now I’m hooked on, The Cleaner series !! My favorite episode The Shaman!! Superb actors every episode!! ❤🎉Try it!! 😊 thank you for sharing the snippet on Ricky and Karl hilariously fun!!
