After covid I couldn't sing for a year, then I decided that I couldn't hide my voice anymore, I was afraid I have lost it, but then I started to train again and now I won't stop anymore! Nailed it!! This song has some of the most difficult consonant strings I've ever heard (I'm very familiar with Skald's recording!), and you made it sound easy!! Very beautiful!

@@morrioghan Your short reminded me to listen to this again. By the way in regards to this song, I have never even seen the Northern or Southern lights!😭 I'd truly love to see them in Iceland, though anywhere would suffice really. Have you seen those awesome seasonal ice hotels that they have in the Nordic countries? That would be an amazing experience, cold but cosy if you have a special someone! I love winter and autumn the most, they feel like old friends coming back each year when they arrive, and missing them when they depart. I usually go and sit peacefully in a park or lake towards the end of winter to cherish the last moments. The cold gives me a calm and clarity that I just don't feel in the heat of our summers. Our winters are relatively mild though. For that level of cold in Iceland, especially outdoors at night, I think Autumn would be more suitable. Depends on solar activity too of course.

@@KenshinPhoenix Me too!!!! I have never seen them.... I'm craaaaazyyyy to go in Iceland too!!! For me is like another planet there, a cold land, sooo beautifull !!!! Yessss, the hotels would be an amazing experience! I love autumn, but I really prefer the winter, the white, cold and silence land, for me it seems like the earth is sleeping, resting... waiting for something, preparing... we can hear the whispers of the earth on the cold wind.... I can talk a lot about winter and fantasize about it ahahahah Don't listen to me! hehe

I do prefer it here, I'm just not sure how cold the winter feels there exactly haha, much colder than ours in any case. Hopefully we both manage to get ourselves there at some point. You are much closer than me!

Ohhh! Is it so bad?! 🤣🤣 I don't speak a word of icelandic, actually just some words. Hehe. I just practice for a week or two to record the song, but it's so difficult! What I speak is not what I'm reading! Is so hard! 😭 But I love Nordic songs, so I need to practice more to sing! I actually speak a little bit of Norwegian, only, but Icelandic, it's really really hard! For me at least!
