After her first album was a certified, established hit, I remember reading that it still took her awhile before she finally realized she was famous, and needed to move out of her little, Brooklyn student's apartment (it was back when real artists and students could afford to live in Brooklyn, and did so out of necessity) and upgrade to fancier digs in Manhattan's Union Square. She did it more because she had to, than because she wanted to.

She would often listen to you in the while taking her afternoon nap. She loved your peaceful playing and said that your voice was like peace on earth.
