Bruce Wade Yeah...the fact that she is a very talented musician also means that she is exempt from engaging in any normal human activities, including being with and taking care of herself, her family and her friends. Wow, someone grew up spoiled and ungrateful of what their family does for them, and probably had to do nothing for themselves, including working an honest job to provide. The little things add up and build our characters, even something like taking the trash out. If your entire generation thinks like you, God help us all.

I love everything about this amazing & beautiful woman.... Norah Jones sings with a soulful sound similar to Nina Simone, but with the silky smoothness of Sarah Mclachlan. What makes it all the more amazing is the fact that Norah Jones writes much of her own music. Norah's voice is so soothing and soulful, she can calm the most frayed of nerves, tame some terrible anxiety, and sing peace to the heart. Norah's songs "Come Away With Me" and "Don't Know Why" are such beautiful masterpieces, I can listen to them every day of the year, and never ever get tired of them!

If you ever get a chance to hear the version on Rest In Peace Mrs. Columbo, give it a listen, no one can find out who sung it, no doubt it was just a Studio Singer who got no credit, but it was hauntingly beautiful, it was Woan and sounded almost like this, but Norah would have only been 11 at the time, but who knows. P.S. I am from Clanton by way of T-Town.

This is excellent...Norah can cover old country or folk songs like this & make them sound so soulful & perfect. I've always loved the way she does the Dead's It Must Have Been the Roses too.

Norah that tells me alot about your musicianship. Thats one of the most heart felt songs ever written. And another thing just the fact that your interacting with people with no pretense is awesome.I believe it is part of our earthly purpose as musicians to help heal the world. Much love and respect.🤗

@Cobb Knobbler perhaps you really don't know that music quite literally connects damaged synapses in the brain, allowing people who've had strokes, tumours removed or other major physical and brain injuries to heal? Music IS healing - not only to the soul, but quite literally to bodies. That isn't ego speaking, it's fact. You seem to be the one unable to grasp the concept of music as the universal language. Sit down, close your eyes, open your ears and LISTEN next time. It might finally connect in ways you never thought possible. For your sake, I hope so.

It's your humbleness, your sincerity, that inner, honest beauty, that truthfulness, that makes you that great person that you are and that I can always see when you smile. And that's before that great, great talent and that amazing, captivating voice of yours comes into play... Stay safe and take good care of yourself, we all love you very, very much.
