You guys need to check out the Zone offroad fender trim plate for the silverados. Super clean look when its all done and 5/8" more clearance!

This wasn't as helpful as I would have liked it to be, I'm rolling on 35"x12.50" Gladiator x comp with 22x12 -44 Offset Fuel Assaults with a 7" Rough Country lift. The scale of modification to my truck is a significant amount more. Than the truck you featured here. I Did cut 2 1/2" off the front fender and front bumper. The back is where The real work begins. Please Keep all the videos coming, I'm still a fan of yall stuff. All your videos were still very helpful throughout my build.

I currently have zone trim plates on my ‘17 Silverado 1500. I’m looking to install a 7” Lift kit (6.5” zone but with 7” lifted struts instead of spacers). I’m looking at 22x12’s and 35x12.50, would I clear with the trim plates or would I need to remove them and trim more? TIA!

Moto metal. l And I want to get 33" tires Mainly do to lift laws. So I want to know will I need to make any tucking changes to put the rims on ?

I have used a grinder, cutting wheel many times without a face shield and only safety glasses. Until I seen a cutting wheel break and shoot into someone’s face. Looks like a bomb went off and shrapnel blew all in his face. Completely fucked up, except for his eyes. Safety first kids.

I've recently done a very similar mod on my 14 Silverado 8" lift Denali 22"s with 37" buckshots. Question: what can be used to seal the exposed metal on the chrome bumper to keep from rusting?

You could use an anti-rust coating of some sort or enamel paint. It will slow the process of rust but won’t make it impossible to rust.

I have a 2017 4x4 Silverado with rough country’s 2.5 leveling kit front and rear. According to rough country’s website. I can go up to 285/70 R17 Factory 17. So If decide to do this nor cal mod. What’s the biggest “ tallest” tires size I could install? 17 inch rims 0 offset. The wheels I’m looking at are method MR312 matte black. Thanks anyone who could provide me with info.

I've got an 09 Tahoe I'm installing a 7 inch Mcgaughys lift, I have 20x14 -76 offsets wheels and 35/12.50 r20 tires,I am stuck on trying to figure out if they will fit. With some trimming, or is it going to be too much. I'd appreciate it if you guys could help me. Ive seen a few tahoes with the same setup, but I don't know what they had to do to get those wheels to fit. I've been to your website but I didn't find any tahoes with that setup only the 90s models. what do you guys think?

Here's one for ya. I'm going to attempt to fit 22x12's -44 with 305/40/22 nitto 420s tires on a 15 with a 2/4 drop. I did it on my 02 with quite a bit of trimming similar to a video you guys did of a white z71. I wish I was closer so I could drop it off for ya'll to fight with. lol! Took my 9" lift and 22x14's off because that is becoming the norm. Thoughts? Or you guys could try it on someone's truck and let me know!😂

Miguel Tovar i think you can do it. i have a 2010 on a 5" lift. with 22x12s on 33s my trac width is 1.5 so im actually 22x13.5 on how far wheel/tire stick out. but did some norcal fender mod and it worjed

Is it bad to leave that trim piece off with the clips/pocket things showing?? Would it rust after awhile?? Like fast or a in long term?? Is there anything they can use to cover them instead of putting that piece back on? Lol

You would want that piece to protect against rust. If you are leaving it uncovered you might want to paint where you cut and use corrosion protection.

I almost bought a set of lrg 20" X 9" -0 off set 108's with 33" X 12.5" tires.for my 2014 sierra with a 2" rc level, how much rubbing would i experience. The guy said i would be rubbing pretty good and i really don't want to cut up my truck. is there a tire size you could recommend that would fit. i got a steal on the rims he said he could mount different tires. what are your thoughts? Gona go back and talk to him on the weekend. also how do you like LRG rims?

He seemed like a good guy, he was actually celebrating a 2 year anniversary of his tire shop when i showed up late at night. He dropped what he was doing and answered a lot of questions I had. he said i would need at least 4" lift before they would fit, now i have a cottage and drive some pretty sketchy old logging roads to get to it. i like the pavement pounder look but i would also like to use my truck as well. i wouldn't want a tire to fall in a hole and be rubbing like mad with a deflected suspension. but in the end i guess i got to pay to play right?

@@CustomOffsetsTV Im having the inside rub you described, ive been trying to figure out if a different rim would fit through discussion with your online support which are trying their best, but don't want to bite another $1200+ bullet on rims if theyll have the same issue. im running 295/55r20s on rancho quick lift struts leveling kit, on oe style snowflakes 20x9 factory dimensions. Im under the impression an offset rim would do the trick but then I fell it may cause rubbing where id need to norcal mod but don't want to be doin that lol. would you have any suggestions

Sounds like you know your shit. Hope you respond. I just picked up a 2010 GMC Sierra X cab. I have TBSS rep wheels from my old 2wd pickup I'd like to stick tires on for the new to me 4x4. The rims are 20x8.5 with a 22mm offset. I plan on a 2" leveling bump up front. What size tires do you think I could get away with running without any issues? I was thinking a 305x55 or maybe a 295x??
