I bought my 6d 61 for like 10th november 2018 and this is one of my fave i use nearly everyday as i play in 3 bands amd have master grade in pop and rock this is soo good keyboard portable and extremely strong metal chassie

Got my 6D 61 a few weeks ago and it's one of the most addictive keyboards I've ever played. I find myself standing up, trying to go use the bathroom, but I can't stop playing the keys! The sounds are that good!

@@andreimclive Sold it, but that's more because I promised myself to take up lessons again and play, but just haven't had the time and motivation. Not the instruments fault. I'm just more of a tinkerer with synths, than a player :) If I had to fault the Nord, it was quite a noisy and hollow instrument to play, didn't feel as premium and nice as I had hoped.

They are just basically upgrading the electro little by little but do not want to make it Op to eat up into the piano or stage sales. That's why they don't sell an 88-key because of the Nord piano and a pitch Bend/Mod wheel because of the stage.

I am in the market to buy a new keyboard. I love Jack and Andersons show! I find Nord negligent to not have a pitch bend on the electro series. Forces me into buying a Roland VR-730, to replace my VR-760. I was really gung-ho on getting this 6D... but no pitch bend, when the lead and stage have one! why wouldn't they have it on the electro. NEGLIGENCE!!!

Jonah Paz I’m literally torn between the two. I’m starting up a blues/funk band and Nord electro wins hands down with the bread and butter sounds. Modx has the vocoder and a pitch bender. 🤷🏾‍♂️ dont know what to do

@ 2:17 talks about the three sound engines. WHY not have separate outputs for each of the sound engines. I'd like to be able to at least send the Organ out separately to a real Leslie.

An AB pedal would work pretty well for that; might even be easier than having separate outs, fewer cables dangling off the back of the keyboard.

I don't think you can manually do a layer. I think you can download the sounds through the Nord library where some presets are already layered. What that guy did was just to find it through the categories.

Not sure if you mentioned it, although I tried to figure it out, but: Seamless Transitions! It's maybe the most underrated feature of the NE6 and for some people it might be a dealbreaker! I was very dissatisfied when I found out my NE5 does not support that...

This is only a suggestion. I think the video should have focused on the angle of the keyboard, meaning the overhead of the keyboard, so that we can see what buttons he’s pressing rather than watching it from a distance. I don’t find that very helpful as someone who’s shopping around for a Nord

Why does the nord lead 6 has no pitch bend /modulation handle? Nord support answered: It's more a simulation of Epiano organs and the normaly have no mulation or pitchbend. But their's also synths in it. Don,t get it vox and roland vr 730 blackhorse have pitchbends. I don,'t get the decision for not putting it in. Nord put one in as update or add-on or something.

I used to think the Electro 6 had the capability of having each sound engine on a *different* midi channel, like most of the earlier Nord keyboards. This isn't true, though. Why limit the 3-part multitimbrality? For a performing (or studio) keyboardist, it's way more useful to buy an Electro 6, and connect two separate midi controller keyboards to it, and have say, a Piano sound on one board (for instance, the Electro itself), an organ sound on the 1st midi controller, and a sample synth on the other, all on different MIDI channels... For live-looping musicians, too... it makes so much sense to be able to have different sounds on different midi channels... play what you need, without having to press any buttons and mess with anything. I just do not understand why Nord would remove this function with their current boards.

David Alarcón Quiñones I have the electro 5. It is the same because it runs on the same sample library interface. The 6, Stage 3 however Is running on their new library.

The biggest leap between the Electro’s was between Electro 4 and Electro 5. Finally they made it possible to stack and split sound plus envelope and filter for the sample synth section. With Electro 5 the sample synth section finally made sense.

I play a Nord Stage 2 EX every weekend and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that the Nord piano libraries are shit compared to a Kronos or even a generic $99 piano VST. You can hear the samples looping in the decay and obvious velocity switching.
