its PRICE is insane. Nord is using now Kawai keyboard action and samples, because the action they used previously (basically a Fatar) was absurdly bad. I had the chance to test a number of these Nord keyboards/digital pianos, from a store where they had several of their "top models", and I can say they are not worth the money, and I mean AT ALL. A $1200 Kawai digital piano sounds like (or even better than) a $3000 Nord. A $3000 Kawai/Yamaha or similar, sounds WAY BETTER than a Nord.

I am a profesional pianist, gigging mainly jazz but I like to practice also classical music (Bach, Chopin Etudes...) to keep my technique. Now my question is if Nord Grand is a good instrument to practice on all that stuff? For instance, I get in a situation to play on a real grand piano a piece that I practised and learned on Nord Grand, would the feeling be much different in action? Will I have trouble playing some fast lines on a real grand piano, because it might have heavier keys?

I just got mine last week and I can tell you you won't regret it, if you choose to get one as well. The way the White Grand sample reacts to the action and vice versa is unchallenged by any competitor, even Kawais MP11 SE. This is the closest you can get to a Grand Piano in terms of stagepianos. Speaking only for myself I wouldn't trade the Nord Grand for any other digital instrument.

eu aprecio muito as teclas do rd,, pude melhorar tecnica, o tamanho do piano ficou um pouco comprometido, mas os pads os sinths, metais suprem minha necessidade gospel.

esta nova versão com teclado da kawai permitiu o Brett williams aplicar dinaica jazzistica, nao precisou usar tanta aticulação para escalas descendentes pois as teclas tem otimo rebote. Era o que faltava para estes samples da NORD. Pena que o investimento sai fora para a maioria do publico target no Brasil.
