I've spent a lot of time on the Stage 3, but this new Stage 4 is absolutely stunning!

I have to say that this is the only such instrument on which the piano's sound is consistent. On the others it's been fine except for like the 5th octave up, which --strangly--- sounds cheap and tacky.

@@scronxWait actually? I have been hearing a lot of debates between the Montage and this. Tried out the new Montage and the 4, but can’t remember playing the 5th octave and up on the Montage. I hv an NS3 Compact, love the board, but to get such nice affect you need to use two channels… too bad that there isn’t balanced trs channels on Nords, compared to Yamahas, but still, an awesome board that I can play all day.

​@@A106 Lucky you. I can't afford a Nord and didn't really like the Hammond-style keys on the one I tried in a music store. Yamaha lies about class compliance so I mostly stick with Casios, the first series to bring "keyboards" to my eager attention, and mini Korgs.

This Nord Stage 4 keyboard is outstanding and very musical with a great punchy sound it gave my Acapella Arts Speakers a great airing. My Partner said what is that great sound. She couldn't believe it was a keyboard until she saw the video. Well done Tony.

Undoubtedly this Stage 4 is a great digital piano and... not only!!! It has great and amazing acoustic grand piano samples and many others among which astonishing huge Pipe organ voices. For me playing in layer the Full pipe with amazing Morph voices the result will be as goose skin effect!!!! I have listened to some live demo in a music shop yesterday and I must admit that is delightful for the ears!!!!!! It was connected to a pair Adam 8x speakers which sound astonishing!!!!!! But even if this new instrument is for a professional use and has a target for a professional keyboarder, its price actually is....FORBIDDEN!!!!!

Just bought the Stage 3. A beautiful instrument, however, a bit disappointment that the 88 key version has digital drawbars. Did not know that the 88 key version of the Stage 4 has actual drawbars.
