Man ever since I got the Strymon Bigsky, it adds so much ambience compared to the regular Nord reverbs. I feel like even a Hall gives more presence. I know that you used the Cathedral Verb here and it sounds nice, but I feel like it would’ve been nice if Nord added more adjustments rather than just dialing in the mix. Sounds great Douglas!

Keep in mind it’s a Stage Keyboard and not a workstation. If you want that type of control then pedals, or something like a Korg Kronos. If you’re real savy you could always route this to a workstation and 100% reverb the workstation piano to blend with the Nord piano 😅

@@maximusfrank2835See here’s the thing. I am a Nord fan, I have the NS3 at home, but I’m saying, for a step of 5700, I would love more Adjustments on something like the NS4. Don’t get me wrong, sheesh some of the pianos to me, sound better than a Kronos and even I would say a Montage M8X but like you said, both workstations not Stage KBs. But, I just feel like it just isn’t worth my money. Tbh I think many people like the Lead A1 Synth on the NS3 more than the Wave 2 on the NS4, but these are all subjective.

@@A106 Paying full price for any electronic gear isn’t worth it- unless you are “investing” and hope that what is old becomes new 50 years later. I guess some people live too far from big cities and unfortunately can’t haggle with independent dealers. I got a new ns4 for $4,561 before tax, but I also live close to Manhattan and will negotiate until they give in 😂 Even at that price he still made a small margin, which shows how corrupt companies like Sam Ash(now out of business) and sweetwater(loosing more and more business) are. (Btw nords are shipped with the pedal, so when a company says I’ll “throw it in” they’re f****** lieing.) Nords are expensive because they’re flash memory(expensive technology) hand made in Sweden, and in result are arguably the most reliable keyboards out there. Part of that success is due to the lack of all the bells and whistles- less to go wrong. I’m assuming this why they don’t have such in depth parameters for fx. The new synth is real powerful. I don’t think most people who buy nord stages really understand how to get the most out of their synths. You can have 6 oscillators going on the ns4. Even on a workstation having more than 6 oscillators on a single note is kind of overkill. What the ns4 lacks imo is a limiter to help glue all these oscillators together, and playlist mode as many have said before
