This is my favourite Nordhavn. The interior volume is impressive as is the design and finishing. Perfection!

This vessel is a monster… perfect in every detail. Took my wallet out and found I was a bit short! Haha

As most of our boats are custom built, they can be customized after purchase. Soft goods, as we call them, upholstery, pillows, bedding, carpets are relatively cheap to replace or change.

Love the take-home system. I've sailed with similar systems and besides being emergency propulsion they serve a good purpose when you need to move but don't need the power of a main engine.

Nordhavn 72 is the a beautiful boat. It's the size where the salon starts to feel comfortable.

The Invictus has 208 three phase power for the motors, thrusters, pilot pumps etc. Single phase 120/240 volt is also available for house loads.

Love the single engine with pto off the generator for emergency but I absolutely hate the built in furniture

Beautiful. It’s a lot of boat. I’m not sure if I need this one or the 41. 😅

How does the power supply system for the thrusters work if the motors are 3 phase? Does that mean the 65kw generator is putting out 3 phase power? Does that mean the 65kw can't be used to drive single phase house loads and the chargers? Single to 3 phase vfds off a single phase 65kw generator to power 3 phase motors?

Is the beam on this boat really 24' as indicated on the Nordhavn website at the beginning of the listing? Further down it indicates 21'. Which is it?

Yes please, but without the flybridge. Solar panels instead and just an open space with place for a ~15-17 feet long outboard. Those boats are nice, but in my opinion ~ three meters (~10 feet) to high. That or alternativelly extend the wheelhouse forwards ~ two-three meters (6-10 feet)...

Nice boat you can sit 10 or 12 people in nearly every area (bow, stern, salon, fly bridge) and sit about 10 for meals, the only downside it can only sleep 6 plus the captain. WHERE DO THE REST SLEEP?????

I love the way Nordhavns look. The galleys are always beautiful too! But the layout for rooms on a boat that size is poorly done! Also the speed is just to slow. I usually cruise at 9 or 10 knots but sometimes you need to get going a little faster and you just can't in a nordhavn. I wish you could. The draft on any of them from the 68 up just gets to much too! Boats between 70 and 90 ft. Don't need 8 foot drafts! It limits a lot of places when traveling and scares the crap out of you in some harbors. They are extremely safe boats and easy to maintain on the exterior but the speed and draft combined makes it a tough buy

Something besides the series 60. Drafts too much, a bit top heavy. Norhhavns seem very nice in many areas but way too much creature comfort, wasted space for fluffing. Want comfort, go on a cruise liner, going camping, boating, expect nature, otherwise, stay home.
