I'm old. I can only read in a real (paper) book. And I don't have the heart to give or donate. A book was a sacred thing for my parents and so am I. But I don't have enough space... I was really happy to see that a young man like you, is reading real books. Luckily, in my city, there are still lots of quality book stores, used book stores, and shelves with books to give away for free, in the public gardens. I am a lover of Nordic literature. The text is "limited and thin" but it only contributes, in my opinion. Anyway: I like your vlog very much. You are a special and humble and charming man.

Off out tonight, which is unusual for us oldies. We are going to watch our granddaughter, Aimee take part in a ballroom dancing 💃🏼 presentation. I am with our girls, except when they go to daycare, 24/7, so they are not used to being left alone, but they were angels. 👼🏻. Sorry, can I make a comment about “books and book 📚 reading”. My husband, Art, who is 81, and of course retired absolutely loves to read. Does not watch TV at all. He sources his books 📖 from our local charities, ie: Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul etc. and when he has finished reading them they are returned to the charities, very occasionally he will go to our local library 📚 . He has 37 here ready for him to read before “the good lord calls him”, (funny man). He was enjoying jigsaw 🧩 puzzles which, when he was finished he would pack up and send to our eldest granddaughter in Victoria,Sarah, who is absolutely brilliant at doing them. However, he found that, after awhile he couldn’t concentrate, so has gone back to his first love, reading.

Miss Mochi was so well behaved when she met the cat. She’s been raised right by her parents, unlike my brat of a Maltese who would have absolutely lost his poop if he saw a cat laying peacefully in the sun 😂😂😂

Her Royal Highness Mochi will not settle for a basket. She's demanding a carriage to carry her like a true princess😊 I don't think I've ever seen that episode of Golden Girls with George Clooney although he looks much more handsome now than when he was younger. Boo sniffs the feral cats but they don't like her. She can relate to Mochi. Just a little trivia, did you know that dog sniffing the grass is like us scrolling on our phone? She wants to know what happened in the area based on the scent from all kinds of critters. A big hug from Boo and me to you, Mr. J and Her Royal Highness Princess Mochi!

A lovely video. Many thanks. I have had problems with sweet pastry so you have my sympathy. I once made an 18th century recipe for a chocolate pye, which had a melted chocolate and cream filling. The pastry was made from ground almonds (rather than flour) and egg white and you were supposed to press it into the dish. Well it turned into concrete and would not leave the dish😂. Since then I have stuck with ordinary pastry

Omg, was that a young George Clooney on the Golden Girls episode?? Thank you for this video. The shot of Mochi sitting in the sun on the grassy hill: chef's kiss! And so cute, her excitement about the new feline friend. I'm glad I sat down and watched it on this Sunday morning in the US. I was inspired to pause it a few minutes in, and go to the kitchen to feed my sourdough mother, start a loaf of bread proofing to bake later, and pour a second cup of coffee to relax with the rest of the video before jumping into my busy day. Try to reward Mochi every time she gets closer to the basket, not only when she is ín the basket. That way she will start connecting the basket with something positive (treats) and she will begin to understand that she needs to get closer to get a treat. Until she puts one paw in the basket and then the other etc. This could take hours or even days, no rush 😊 Picking her up and putting her in the basket is too big a step for her. Good luck!!

May I sugest you put a card box inside the basket? I don't mind about mondays but I really deslike thursdays, already tired and still a couple days until weekend. But Iife teached me that every day is a special day and a simple smile can makes the difference. The dessert looks great and it doesn't mater if the process went not so well, I'm sure it looks good and taste even better. I loved the cats and the hapiness of Miss Mochi. We love watching your vlogs, my dog is also a Mochi fan, she looks at the tv When she’s on ❤ As for the basket training, maybe you could consider making it more stable by putting cushions around it (And specially Under it), I don’t think any dog can be trained into being comfy in a place they don’t feel safe at because it balances. Keep up the good work with her! I love seeing humans be gentle and loving with their baby dogs ❤❤

Haha, those boxes are so hard to open in a nice way. And yes- the audio is missing because I was cursing so badly when the dough disaster hit 😆😂 I put the basket training on hold actually. I think she needs a bigger and more comfy basket, but I haven't seen any yet...

A proposito della torta..cerco di spiegarmi. 1)Prepara un pezzo ROTONDO di carta da forno, della misura (abbondante) della tortiera o pentola dove cucinerai; 2)appoggia questa carta sulla tortiera; 3) quindi vi appoggi l'impasto ( NON PIEGARLO ) che avevi già steso col mattarello nella misura giusta ( all'incirca); 4) assesti i bordi, probabilmente ti hanno detto di alzarli un po'. Per quanto riguarda l'impasto che avevi fatto e che si era rotto: lo impasti di nuovo con le mani ( senza lavorarlo troppo poiché si tratta di una crostata) e poi lo stendi velocemente col mattarello e lo appoggi sulla carta da forno che hai messo sulla tortiera senza problemi ❤Puoi usare la carta da forno, da mettere dentro la tortiera, per qualsiasi impasto di torta,anche liquido. Così non si attacca 😊Buona giornata ❤

Je pense que le panier à vélo de Mochi n'est pas assez haut. Elle ne se sent pas en sécurité. Ici les paniers pour chien ou chat sont beaucoup plus haut avec un grillage un peu plus serré. J'ai adoré comme sa queue c'est mise à frétiller quand elle a vu son copain chat. Ca m'a fait penser au chien et aux chats de mes parents. Le chien voulait toujours jouer avec un des chats mais lui il n'était pas tellement d'accord 😀. J'aime toujours autant vos balades dans la ville.

Hi What kind of breed is your dog ? My dog is a Tenterfield terrier and American call it “ Rat terrier “(I live in Australia). Your dog looks so similar to my dog so I am very curious 😊

She is a Parson Russell terrier, basically the same as Jack Russell, but with longer legs. The Tenterfield terrier looks similar, yes! I just googled it 😄
