Yep, this one is it! Wow what a great mod list. Running it at 1440p with a i7-9700k, 2080 Super , 32gb ram, SSD (of course). I am able to sustain between 60~ 90 fps outdoors, where ever I am with the Community Shaders + ReShade (which looks incredible BTW, ENB is overrated). Indoors I get from 90~130 approx. Seriously, for anyone who tried out stuff like nolvus and thought after a couple of hours « Man what the hell this isn’t Skyrim anymore », look no further than Nordic Souls! Beautiful sound effects, leveling curve adjusted with MCM, clean UI, gorgeous grass and landscapes, different trees and tree types, no overwhelming weather (too dark, too bright, too foggy, etc)… just enhancing Skyrim so well that, in 2024, THIS is the mod pack that I’m going to sink hundreds of hours into. Absolute props to Geborgen and thank you for curating such a wonderful, smooth, immersive , more challenging than vanilla experience.

First modlist i have found that works perfectly in a lenovo legion go. A testament to how well put together everything is for performance. Other than that is very polished, its mostly feels like a vanilla plus experience with a lot of new content and better combat. It doesnt stray too far away so i wouldnt recommend it if you are looking for a power fantasy or hardcore survival experience. It's more of a middle ground between both.

I'm looking to get back into Skyrim and, my God, the modding scene has changed so much since I last seriously played this game that it is almost unrecognizable, but in a good way. One of the reasons I haven't gone back to Elder Scrolls is I dread all the time that setting up a modded installation would take, even with tools such as Mod Organizer. I'm so thankful Wabbajack exists to save time installing. This modlist seems to suit my tastes the best and I appreciate how it is very performance friendly. Seriously, uncompressed 4K textures and extreme LODs may look good on screenshots but are terrible for actually running the game unless you have the most expensive, high end hardware at the time.

I've only just started trying out these modlists, and it's almost like discovering modding again for the first time. So much choice and it all looks fantastic. Like a kid in a sweet shop : -) I've tried three or four so far and had a good look at many others. None of them have quite yet hit the spot. Either lacking too many of my favourite mods, or too far removed from Skyrim as I know it. Some are too focussed on modern combat overhauls for me, or so jam packed that there's no room for me to add stuff, or so comprehensively integrated and patched that removing anything is a nightmare. They're all amazing though and having spent years on trying to set up and patch my own game builds, I can only imagine the amount of work that must go into them. Thanks for the video, this list looks great and pretty close to the kind of build I would aim for. Hopefully there's enough wriggle room to add/remove a few bits and bobs. I imagine the LODs could be improved fairly easily, especially now that NGIO has been updated to work without netscript (so no downpatching needed). Downloading now : -)

I think I'm going to give this one a try. Maybe I'm just getting old, but maybe I'd enjoy a simpler modpack. I want to like LOTD or Requiem, or even just a deleveler mod, it gets a bit exhausting test out modpack when I have to trudge through the same low level areas every time. I kinda just want the option to do quests in a different region and different quests for each modpack I try out. And regarding performance, there doesn't seem to be many good options for performance focused modpacks that also radically change up the gameplay. But maybe a vanilla+ experience won't be so bad. Here's hoping I'll get a smooth 60 FPS on 1440p with a 5800x3D CPU and a RTX 2070 Super (8 GB VRAM) with 32 GB of system RAM.
@ReisseT7 ай бұрын
And? How was it? I played thru it two times. Once as a two handed warrior. Once as an assassin with main focus on archery. I can recommend it as a warrior. The assassin playthru however felt a bit iffy. I dont know if thats because the assassin play style gets strong really fast but at some point it just lost sth and there wasnt any motivation to keep going. The warrior playthru however was really fun. But whats great is that its not one of those modlists trying to transform skyrim into an extremely difficult game. Those dodge mods and animations are just too clunky. Theyre impressive for being mods but skyrim is just not made to be played like dark souls and its always sad when otherwise good modlists get ruined by trying to make the game like crazy hard and fighting almost looks like in those weird japanese rpgs.

On paper it sounds good, more immersive NPCs going about their day, making the world feel more alive... but from a gameplay perspective it's just horrible. I reach a new city and want to find cool things to do, quests, secrets, treasures... BUT NOW THERE ARE 100 USELESS NPCS making volume just getting in the way and making it harder to find cool things to do. It's just more fatigue, it actively makes me find less interesting stuff and the world looks shallow with all that breadth.
