Thanks so much for sharing your expertise! What kind of poles do you recommend for a beginner Senior . Is weight of pole a concern?

I have arthritis in my thumbs. I noticed you use an extra support for your hands. Would that be advisable for someone like me? Would they help with my arthritis? Thank you for the very clear video.

I've tried hiking with poles, but keep breaking them.

Are we suppose to drag or lift the pole?
@realntname55913 жыл бұрын
Lol hi, I think we are meant to drag only for a little while and then pull the pole into an arm swing(kinda) by just pulling it forward then planting it in the ground again(without putting weight). Hope this hepled. 👀

You can drag the poles while you are learning but when you have a command of the swing, you should lift the poles and clear the ground. Over time, this preserves the pole tips. To learn more, read this: melioguide.com/osteoporosis-exercises/nordic-walking/
