Awesome review. Was undecided on which machine I like but I am swaying toward the Sole. However after reading some reviews it does not sound like Sole stands by the product. Lots of phone calls for questions or service was unanswered. I am a little concerned if company doesn’t get back to you or even answer the phone. Doesn’t matter how good the warranty is.

Thanks for the reviews. We've had our Sole for at least 8 years now. When our earlier Model failed, not due to our negligence etc, the Customer Service Manager was American and spoke English. This awesome guy let us upgrade to a later model with the original price of our earlier Model going towards the upgraded Model. We got a bigger size Motor and a bigger tmill. I was really impressed with the Customer Service from the CS Manager and for this reason we will always choose Sole over ANY other comparable priced Treadmill. No complaints here. They're rustic and can take a beating. Keep up with the Maintenance and you'll be happy with your product. Having a treadmill in your basement is the way to go for your health and fitness goals. Especially on those days that you don't want to go to the Gymn during the winter months.

NOTE: This product works exactly as described. kzbin.infoUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!

Thank you for the review. I currently own a NordicTrack that I love and have had for many years and still works. I got it from Sears, use it nearly every day and was on sale back then for around $600-$700. However, I am currently 71 year old male and my wife is 48 and I like to stay in shape so haven’t let my treadmill grow any dust. I don’t run but do walk at a fast pace and it now has about 600 miles on it and I am afraid it could go anytime although has no sign of that. I keep it clean and oiled so it is serviced regularly. Very interested in the NordicTrack since mine had been extremely reliable but the Sole got my attention and has lot of features I want in a new one. Because I go back and forth between my stationary bike and treadmill during my workout I need the display to hold and not clear my info as my current one does. Does anyone know the answer to that? Thanks again for the review it helped a lot.

If you want something simple and functional, the Sole F63 is a great option. The Nordictrack EXP7i has a screen but it's really quite small and can be hard to see, but it does include video content if you are interested in that

Hello TreadmillReviewGuru great review as always! Do the roller size matter? The NT has 1.9" precision rollers? vs. the Sole which has 2.5" rollers, does that make Sole better?
@TreadmillReviewGuru3 жыл бұрын
Bigger rollers just mean the motor doesn't have to work quite as hard to move the belt because a larger roller won't have to work as hard as a smaller one to move the belt along. It doesn't necessarily mean one treadmill is better than the other, just something to consider as you're looking to purchase a treadmill.
@bhakta_rg3 жыл бұрын
@@TreadmillReviewGuru so that would mean Sole is better than NT given that pretty much everything is the same specs between these 2 models. I’m confused between the 2 right now, so trying to decide. Please advise
@TreadmillReviewGuru3 жыл бұрын
@@bhakta_rg the Sole F63 is slightly more durable and has a larger frame, so it feels more substantial when you're on it. Also, the EXP 7i screen is really quite small, so it can be hard to see the touchscreen buttons. All things being equal, we'd recommend the Sole F63.

Great video and I'm looking right now to buy. I'm a senior and just intend to walk and use the incline for at times for more of a workout as needed. One question I have is can you dial the speed any closer than 1 mph increments. For example I may wish to start at 2 and slowly increase to 3 or more mph.

@TreadmillReviewGuru2 жыл бұрын
You can if you want to. There is a switch at the front that can easily be flipped on or off or you can go as far as unplugging the machine. The unplugging is up to you but we would recommend switching it off between each use.

@TreadmillReviewGuru3 жыл бұрын
The Sole should be plenty for you, if you wanted to take a look at the Sole F65 it's a slight step up and might give you a little more longevity in the motor. But if you aren't too worried about that then the F63 will work great for you!

I like to do 30sec interval sprints at about 10-11mph for approx 30 minutes. Will one of these work? I like aspects of both. I don't want to use IFit, but sometimes I might want to do like a set interval program if I want to walk or something. I can't tell if Nordictrack will let me do any type of program without paying for the subscription.
@TreadmillReviewGuru2 жыл бұрын
You can create whatever program you want in Manual Mode, but you are only able to save and access the same program again later if you have an iFit subscription. So yes, you can do intervals on the EXP7i, you'll just have to manually adjust the speed. There are also free interval programs you can access as well that don't require an iFit subscription.

Hi, How would you rate the F63 against the Exp 10i?
@TreadmillReviewGuru2 жыл бұрын
The F63 has been around for a long time so you know it's going to be a quality machine and last forever. the EXP 10i has a little more tech built into the treadmill but is slightly less durable in our opinion.
@chrisk88472 жыл бұрын
@@TreadmillReviewGuru Thanks for the quick reply. I’m finding it really quite difficult to decide on a specific treadmill, especially with higher UK prices. I’m currently looking at the F63/F65, Proform 2000/5000 (old and new models) or Proform EXP 7i/10i. I’m leaning towards the Sole as I’m not looking for a subscription/classes, being drawn to the slightly higher specs of the Proform but suspect that the Sole will be better treadmill. What would be your recommendation out of these models?
@daleverga28442 жыл бұрын
You mentioned about 3rd party apps for the Sole. What was the name.
@TreadmillReviewGuru2 жыл бұрын
The Sole F63 can connect to 3rd party apps like Zwift, and you can also use the Studio app which is Sole's new fitness app that their equipment connects to through bluetooth. You need your device to use apps like these with the Sole treadmill.

Unfortunately anytime a comparison review includes a Sole treadmill, it doesn't hold up for the Australian market due to their inflated pricing here. For example the Nordictrack Exp 7i is $2000 AUD and the Sole F63 is $3000 AUD. For $3000 AUD you can get a Nordictrack 1750 or Proform 9000
