Both are great VPN options. Like Surfshark slightly more because of their camouflage mode. It is automatically activated when using open vpn protocol. That mode keeps your vpn usage hidden so it just looks like regular internet traffic to the isp or whomever. Plus SS can be used on unlimited number of devices and shared with family & friends. But Nord has its upside to with speed. Both excellent choices.

I do wish Nord would implement individual website split tunelling in its main app, surf shark does, Nord you need to use the browser extensions and if you use a couple of browsers at the same time you soon use up the 6 connection limit which can be a pain, they need to fix that in my opinion. And as more and more sites seem to be able to block Nord that I use for work it does become frustrating. It may well be the single reason I jump from one to the other when my current sub expires.

If they are promoting their service falsely, it is considered fraud. Which is against the law and is a criminal act. Surfshark VPN does not seem to hide your current location or IP address. You can easily verify this by doing a Google search for your local weather forecast, and it will show that your location is NOT hidden. Regardless of the protocol or area you select on the VPN app, it doesn't hide anything. I believe it's a scam, so it should be reported to ScamAdviser.

Your VPN will load your computer up with corrupted files and crap it assures you it is preventing. If your Computer is dreadfully slow, uninstall the VPN, no matter who peddles it. Lmao. Surfshark is from the Netherlands which is part of the 9-eyes. I am Dutch and I don't trust my government with even all of the data they have of me. I know our privacy laws. NordVPN is in Panama. So security? meh.
