Loving the series! Props to you Eva for piloting that Ural for a real tour. This is what traveling on a motorcycle is all about about, all the senses, true exploration.

Watching this episode gives me more appreciation for my home in the PNW. Driving the Ural sidecar rig (Mine is a 2020 Gear-Up) forces one to slow down and take in the scenery. Although slow, the Ural is an altogether a different experience than a motorcycle. Wonderful and enjoyable series. Many thanks.

when the fog breaks the reveal is amazing - the air opens up and all the sounds emerge that were muted by the mist...feeling the temperature in the woods rise 5 degrees and the sun on your face through the trees while everything starts steaming ;-) on the upside, it's nearly impossible to take a bad cloud picture in Oregon. 😀

What a beautiful part of the world! 😍 I totally agree with getting off the bike and exploring at a walking pace. I struggle a bit with touring gear that is protective but not necessarily great for walking. Getting changed in parking or at a trailhead is doable but then I worry about my stuff when I leave it. Maybe hard panniers would suit me better for touring? Maybe a Ural? Stuff all my crap in the sidecar! 😂❤️ I'll figure something out tho!
@TheSandiaman4 ай бұрын
You should have gone to the Tillamook cheese factory and taken the tour and they have like 40 flavors of ice cream. It was a great time in that area. Next time you’re up there give it a try. You stopped at many of the places we did a few years ago. Just a great area.

Considering a 1250 gs as a change to my HD cruiser. The only concern is wind protection when riding on highways. As you travel highways a fair bit how do find wind protection. I know it's different than a cruiser but wondering on long days how you cope with it. Thanks..
@GraySpoonJeeper4 ай бұрын
Plenty of wind protection.
@SterlingNoren4 ай бұрын
I've actually never had much wind protection on any of my bikes so I guess I am used to it. I don't like big windshields when I go off-road as they can be dangerous if they are too tall.
