Did you know you can attach Industrial wall lights to powerarmor and then walk the armor away, so you leave behind a floating light? If you then add a wire fence post to the back of it, you can move it with the hold-X trick and have little street lanterns. I think they would look great on your walkways ;) (Though walking around the armor and jumping in and out of build mode is a pain in the butt).

Wow, what a reference! I literally just realised that I could just grab the shack foundations to drop them an inch like, yesterday. That little gap was driving me nuts. I always had a habit of doing the opposite here. I ONLY built a maintenance shack with a water purifier or two sitting in the river next to it. Sometimes even a LUXURY maintenance shack, with a BED, and a DESK

Your interior walkway could be swapped out for two prefabs. Maybe the ones with the slanted roof, both tilted the same way. Another neat trick is that the shack wall and roof can be placed back to back for this kind of bridge. Either could give your handyman a nice space to either live or work. The roof would probably be visible from the outside too, and that might look nice. The top portion of the exterior walkway might also be a nice shack location. Especially if you're going with the mechanic idea, putting the entrance at his back door might be cool. Maybe do both, using the upper shack as a home and the lower as a workshop.

You should add like a little mechanics hut where are settler can live and 'maintain' the purifiers. (Although he'd probably have to have a scavenging station or something...

When you ask for an idea, one possiblility is to get rid of the door and use an overhead walkway instead. This way it's protected from raiders (much as it can be) and still accessible.

All my water locales have water farms for cash (er. cap) flow. Kudos for the patience putting in the junk fences .. I rarely use them because of the lack of snap friendliness. I have resorted to the standard galvanized steel fencing on my water farm platforms.

hey there Davey, if you want sujestions, you can full under the towers with some crates to simulate where your whater is beeing stored, and you can also set a laboratory station, but not the fancy one. The one with a barrel and steampunky, to roleplay as a test bench for the purified whater, so your settler can tweak the purifiers. I like to roleplay on Fallouts and Skyrim, and I really do love your buildings, I might share with you my starlight drive-in once it is finished, it is highly inspired by you, but I'm doing lots of stuff you woldn't do because it is not your taste hahaha Still, great builds, love your creations, huge fan here! you kept mentioning , "it's missing something". most water/power plants that i've been to have an immediate maintenance/tool shed. something just big enough for a bench (armor/chem) a couple of shelves, tools, drums, barrels, cement bags, parts junk, etc. but who am i tellin... oh, i like your concepts and ideas here.

Hey, I don't know if you do suggestions but if you do can you make a lone wonder style home. Meaning there's no one else at your settlement, sorta like a rest stop when hardcore mode comes out. It has all your basic necessities (storage, workshops, bed, and some other things to make it unique) but it's not all flashy unless your into that kinda stuff. Anyway this is just a suggestion I really don't care if you do it or not

in my opinion the guard towers needs to be higher, so the are at least equal to the main entry bridge. and a third one in the corner next to the bridge / main entrence. lovin your vids, gettin a lot of inspiration from it!

Fun space! I just kinda crammed 7 of the big ones in the water and called it done. I should probably clean that shit up and make it nice like this. So far we haven't been under attack, even with 440 water, but it can't hurt to have extra defense. All of my settlements are connected by one long chain, and so those that can produce water make it for those without a water source. I don't like the little blue crank things.

just put the fence before you put the door frame. if you try to put fences after the door frame has been put down it wont clip, but if you put the fence first it all clips in place

I built mine on the east side of Spectacle Island. Completely walled in by concrete floors. Lots of guards and turrets. It stopped telling me how much it's cranking out at 999. Building a smaller one at Taffignton Boathouse also. I have learned is instead of running back and forth to the ground. I just build one floor and use that for the rug glitch.

Charlie Moy Don't be at your settlement after you picked up your water. Give it like 20+ minutes and come back. I use those Industrial Water Purifiers. Have 500 water in my settlement and that gives me around 8k in caps.

The only things i can think of that's missing is criss crossing pathways too get in and around the generators/purifiers so you can do maintenance(not that you need too in this game) so you dont have too stand in water too work on them. i would have build it off the wall and bridge as well since those 2 corners are defended and random maintenance clutter like Nathan jolly mentioned.

been looking around YT for sanctuary build, im also on console so iys hard to find builds that are not mod heavy. been building a small shanty village where the water purifier area. for some reason mama murphy chooses to live in that area evem though ive furnished all of the houses in sanctuary...i choose not to interfere where my settler lives so she stays there. jun keeps on moving in with sturges on all my saved game.

I did it with no dlc or mods or anything cause I cant figure out how to get my live profile from my 360 onto my xbox one. anyways the two big tanks of water you can place purifiers In. fix the bridges and put generators on top of the roofs and your good
