A very nice job! The personal touches you've added really make it seem like people do live there! And I've never thought of giving Mama Murphy her own place! Super idea! I find Sanctuary to be so big and time-consuming to rebuild and decorate so now I always end up with the junk cleared and one or two homes looking nice. I set up what's necessary to keep them happy, but it can be such a chore! On my first few playthroughs I was very thorough with Sanctuary and had living quarters in most of the homes with decorations etc. That was fun the first few times. But I really enjoy the much smaller size settlements to work with. Case in point, I downloaded a mod from Steam that is a settlement at a bus stop in Boston! There was about a foot of space around the bus stop to walk on, but that was it! It was really fun because I built upwards, which I never do. I managed to have crops, a water pump, a generator, 2 settlers plus myself, mini armor, chem, and weapon workbenches, chickens, a guard dog and two turrets! And a caravan hookup was also available. A fun little mod. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing the completion of your Sanctuary home.

In my later Fallout 4 runs I stopped getting the Minutemen. Just pretended not to hear Preston. I liked having Sanctuary to myself and my companions. My own home, a shrine, a graveyard, water pump, farms, workshop, hunting cabin. A suburban homestead type build.

One of my favorite fallout 4 playthroughs was when the survival mode was first added, and I just ripped down all my neighbors houses and fortified just the protagonists house and yard areas, because I figured why would a guy who’s fresh into the apocalypse spend the time fortifying a whole neighborhood when he’s gotta keep himself safe to have time to farm and stay alive, I never got near diamond city I just enjoyed the survival experience it was really great, every other save I turn sanctuary into the Castle/Prydwen North lol

I had a little help with my settlement rebuilds, well Sanctuary for now... The Rebuild Collection - AIO Rebuild Sanctuary Easy Scrapping The Rebuild Collection - Shared Resources Workshop Framework There are others that have done more than help, in terms of mods. No where near the level of detail that you have achieved, I'm at level 10 as a character so far. You have done wonderfully well, great to see how this game, launched in 2015, can be just as relevant today, giving so much satisfaction, as it was when released. Then again on release I still preferred to play FO3.

Pretty much had fo4 installed on my ps4/5 since 2016, and have used your sanctuary mods since you released them, embellishing them where I want. Could you build more into the estate past the 3 main houses expanding your home, having it be almost like a castles keep to the rest of the settlement. Also really enjoying the fo4 content again, seeing you build gives me so much motivation to build cool stuff across my saves

Thank you for demonstrating I'm not menta l, ,,,,or maybe we both are? I've started a new play through and have become SO addicted to building. I got to Starlight Drive In and wanted to build a water pump but I needed the computer bank from the vault tec workshop so, had to go to Vault 88. I now have a fully functional vault, haven't yet finished the pump, have barely touched the main quest and am already level 50. The joy and pain of no mods. Internal doors, 1x1 bathrooms, build order, that poxy shrub. But the satisfaction when it's all done and working is fantastic.

I noticed nobody ever adds a ceiling or carpets. First thing I do to sanctuary is a ceiling to eliminate rain from getting inside then carpets.

I’m fairly certain there are mods that let you use ‘76 assets. I admire your discipline to get this done before actually playing the game. While I always wind up picking up scrap for building, what I start doing after awhile is using “bat craft” to add 100 of each material into the workshops around the Commonwealth so I can just get on with building them up. I figure as long as I’m also collecting scrap it doesn’t mess with my immersion too much. Sometimes I’ll buy junk from venders as well. I’m playing SS2 and fingers crossed, barring no more updates, I will actually get thru it this time. With SS2 I’m mostly using premade city plans. Sanctuary is an exception because I discovered, the triangle of death is real, at least in XBox. I barely built up Red Rocket (one of my favorites) and Abernathy, but there was a point where those area all got broken, even if i verrrrry slowwwwly walked to them from outlying areas. Not sure if the same is going to be the case or PC but I’m taking it slow. I haven’t done anything at Red Rocket except scrap and give myself a bed.

I always feel guilty when I scrap Shaun’s crib, especially when I use the mod “visible activity markers” which shows a white silhouette of Dogmeat standing witn his feet on the rail and peering in, as well as another where he’s just sitting by it keeping guard. 😢 I like your idea of making his room nice in the hope of his room. I’ll be honest, I don’t even tend to use the SS ‘s home as my own base as it’s fairly convenient for settlers so I can find them. I brutally scrap every single chair, stool, and sofa so they can’t hide out. They sit where I allow them to sit. 😂 Seriously, if you don’t do that you’ll find one of them sitting on a stool in the HVAC room.

Love to see it! I really dig that space for Mama Murphy! Do yo know what mod the building bit is from? It was Aces. I always keep Little Timmy's...I mean Shaun's room decorated for him, as well. I always found it weird that there's no babies in the game, since there's a model for baby Shaun & the Vault DLC has a room that's a nursery with cribs. I suppose it might be due to it being a cinematic or limited to the player for the initial interactions with him at beginning of game on why no mods have ever been made to have NPCs with babies at settlements. Maybe in FO5 it will change, depending on the time period, place & storyline. Guess we just need more destroyed stuff aesthetic in The Sims to live out my Fallout family wishes! I also, in seeingcomments, am wondering if you'll do a cheeky ship decoration in Starfield, now that free placement is a thing?

Awesome update. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to combine a few of your mods for the PS4, to save on the mod limit, please? The Walled Sanctuary, Sole Survivor house, the replaced house next to the Workshop house, and the repaired Sanctuary houses mods. I think they would make for a nice mod pack. If you aren't able to that is ok. I just thought it would nice to have those mods combined since they compliment each other so well. I always enjoy watching your videos for their scrappy lore friendly Fallout 4 aesthetics.
