Hiya, thanks so much, it's been a tough year on the broads. Hopefully they'll bounce back and we'll continue to get some more quality fish! 👍🎣

Hi Andy, another very enjoyable video. I think that your niece is hooked for life after catching that cracking bream. I see from other posters that you are in for another job, well good luck with that. Just hope that there is some decent free fishing in the area that you may move too. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Colin, yes always something going on, hopefully some new fishing adventures to be had! 👍👌

Great video pal! My friend and I are off to the broads in 3 weeks time, we’ve got a boat for four days and are aiming to catch as many species as possible (great rod race), we’re gonna be trying quite hard for pike and hopefully carp...have you tried for either on the broads before?
@TheBudgetAngler4 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate I've not really tried for pike much, I've had a few on lures, and lives but mostly when I've been targeting perch. I've never tried for carp although they do turn up occasionally, a small one was caught st St Bennett's last week and last summer a huge one came out but the guy that caught it from a boat he put in literally years of work observing tracking and baiting while out and about though. Tench might be a better option to target 👍 tight lines! 🎣

The Budget Angler yeah I’m thinking the carp might be a stretch! Gonna be using a vast array of lures for perch and pike then float fishing and method feeder for everything else...I’ll let you know how we get on!

We hired a boat for a week last October and tried some fishing for the first time, really basic gear with a waggler float and sweetcorn but didn't catch a single thing for 2 days! Eventually plucked up the courage to get some maggots and managed to keep catching little fish for the rest of the holiday Going back again for 11 nights in October, going to try fishing again but hopefully this time with more success! Never tried fishing with bread, but think we'll give it a go
@TheBudgetAngler3 жыл бұрын
Hi Sam, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! 😃 I can definitely recommend bread, it's the most fantastic bait and to date has caught all of my favourite fish! Tight lines for your next trip. Hopefully I'll bump into you out and afloat one day! 😃👍🎣

Great video and you caught some lovely fish. Brilliant that you are teaching your niece to fish. I have never been on a boating holiday it looks good fun although I stayed in a cottage at Stalham and drove to some of the places you were fishing. Hope things go well with the new job and moving.

Hi there Great video I’m due to go to broads fishing with my two boys in October What bait was u using ? Was u only float fishing no method ? Thanks
@TheBudgetAngler3 жыл бұрын
Hello mate, maggots and bread are my main baits I do use a cage feeder with plenty of bread crumbs mixed with a bit of ground bait and casters/ dead maggots. You can feed a lot on the biggers rivers. Pellets will get the bigger bream I hear. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🎣😀👍
