Norfolk Broads 2021, the best way to see this by foot is The Wherryman’s way. A long distance walking path from Norwich to Great Yarmouth! At 35 miles long, you can do this in one go, or split the trail into a few Norfolk Broads day trips.
We decided to walk the Wherrymans way over 3 days and used the HiiKER app GPS map.
In part 2 we picked the trail back up at Langley, where we had finished in part 1 and walked a beautiful section towards Loddon. We captured some Norfolk broads drone shots along the way, and stopped off at a lovely pub before finishing for the day just after the Reedham chain ferry.
On the final day walking the Norfolk broads, we made our way past fascinating windmills, boats and wildlife to Breydon water and finished the trail at Great Yarmouth. I have to say it’s definitely one of the best Great Yarmouth walks along that stretch!

The trail is named after the Wherry which is a large cargo carrying barge with elegant black sails that used to sail between Norwich and Great Yarmouth carrying their wares.
This is the sixth long distance hiking trail I have walked in 2021, I have also walked..
